What I really want to know is whether the new rash of bombings is linked to acts arranged by the CIA in Italy in the 1970s - the Strategia della Tensione - while Michael Ledeen was stationed in Italy and George H.W. Bush was director of the CIA. It would be just like the Bushistas to blackmail the new prime minister with a rash of bombings that only "cooperation on intelligence" can address.
