The real difference is that most of the mass murderers in Israel and Iraq work for groups who make claims that they are done by a group. They are interviewed and filmed before and after the attacks. The attacks themselves are usually video recorded and the “producer” narrator gives commentary over the video.
There is often a martial musical score over the video. The whole effort is also broadcast over the Internet in text, pictures, and video. The mass murderers are not alone and instead have backers... often other countries. The murderers if killed are given massive funerals and the group behind the event or events continues to make them into “hero's” and “martyrs” for what ever the “struggle” or jihad is.
These events are far different than some psycho who had a bad childhood, missed his meds to many days in a row, lost a girl friend, or played too many hours of the video/computer game “Doom” while high on model airplane glue.
The ones that happen in the Mideast are productions not delusions. That is the difference.
