There may be tools today to calculate approx. where a cell call is being placed from, but not in 1994.

By the way, do you remember where you were during the Bronco chase? I was at Best Buy in Toledo, OH, near the corner of Secor and Monroe. That store is still there today, but at the time it had only been open for maybe 12 months. And I had just graduated high school 12 months earlier as well.

I do not, However, I remember exactly where I was when the verdict was announced. I was shocked beyond words. It was like a JFK assassination moment. I will never forget.
I have spoken to many people since then who say the same thing. I think this event marked a turning point for the country. Many people, including me, completely abandoned faith in the American justice system.

No, no, no... this is not true. Absolutely not true. Not in 1994. And barely now in 2007. We are still rolling out E911 in the non-metropolitan areas, where there are two varations of location technology. Handset based and Network based. If that kind of technology was avaiable, we would have had Phase 3 E911 a decade ago, all over the USA.

The **MOST** you could tell is what cell site he was attached to when making the call.
You CAN NOT go back and find somebody’s location like that. If we could, imagine the firestorm people would have when we know where you’ve been for your entire live (or the past 15 years). When your phone is on, you are attached to a tower. The phone and the tower are constantly doing a check to see where each other are, and decding wether or not to handoff to another tower.
If we could go back and look for OJ, we could go back and look for where anyoen who ever carried a mobile phone was for the last 15 years (if all the BS was true).
I could say something about this whole OJ incident, but enough people on FR think I’m crazy already, and would not believe it. I’ll just say this from a witness you never heard from and never will, OJ did it. I could care less if there was NO evidence, other than the witness who I know personally. Yes, Virgina, there was somebody who saw him running across Barrington, and get into his Bronco, at the exact time of the murders. That’s all I am or ever will say about this, so don’t ask.
