"Good God. English 101? 'Sociological, cultural, feminist, and other studies of science'?

How much do you want to bet that this guy is gay?"

The sociological, cultural, and feminist perspectives aren't "studies" of science, they're just ranting Luddite criticisms of science and progress in general.

Earlier in the thread it mentioned that this guy was a protege of Allen Ginsberg when he was 19. Ginsberg was famously gay. Seems like a safe bet.

Anyone besides me see a pattern here?

Did you mean other than the fact they should face the surviving members of those who defend their rights to be the worst they can possibly be and repeat themselves?

I have rarely seen such a display of arrogance mixed with ignorance before. (although from anecdotal evidence it does seem to be confined to academic types) What is it about these types that make them such good little fellow travelers? Even for what passes as a highly educated person these days he should realize that spouting crazy conspiracy theories, using hackneyed insults towards republicans and the general populace of FR, only make him appear to be a loon.

This is a good example of what happens when government gets involved with education or anything else for that matter. Government always makes things more expensive while simultaneously degrading the product.
