Tony Snow is invested in what his boss tells him; he is not just parroting. Tony is a member of CFR. There's a future for him in all of this.

Our friend the colonel who led his "killers" in Vietnam remarked that upon leaving a fellow officer said, "Hey, let's go to Saudi," and although our friend declined, the other officer went.

The Saudi presence is ubiquitous. We did a custom home for a big oil player in the eighties who had no end of stories from "Saudi".

Imagine a Texas drawl remarking, "When we were in Saudi we had a sayin', 'If you want to get somethin' done cheap, get some Koreans."

I don't see the attraction with sucking up to them to get their money.

A few neutron bombs and voila the fiftieth state, with the end of wahabbism as we know it a plus.

But then, Sandy Berger was with Hogan and Hartson as the point person representing the Peoples Republic of China.

A natural for our National Security Advisor.

Whom Bush would not touch for robbing the National Archives.

It all smells like a fish market at the end of the day.

Or a grease trap.

But Rudy gave the sheik's check back.

Beesness is beesness, but he is a man of honor.

Double Cross by the Giancanas is a great read. Apparently there was a lot of bad blood that Robert Kennedy went after Hoffa and deported Carlos Marcello. They felt double-crossed.

Sinatra was heartbroken when Jack Kennedy broke it off; Sinatra had built a helicopter pad at his house.

As for the Democrats and the media pursuing the Ramos-Compean case, I think not.

They daren't offend their perceived voting demo.

And they do have the tendrils of ownership encircling the genus hispanicus americanus.

"But Rudy gave the sheik's check back. Beesness is beesness, but he is a man of honor."

*Honor* or a seasoned politician who knows how to work the quisling media to their own advantage?
Which of the two possibilities has the ring of truth, is more plausible?

"Double Cross by the Giancanas is a great read. Apparently there was a lot of bad blood that Robert Kennedy went after Hoffa and deported Carlos Marcello. They felt double-crossed."

I'll just bet they were "disappointed".
When it occurred to 'em they'd been taken over & there wasn't a damned thing they could do it must've been a sobering moment.
Lends an entirely new meaning to the old tome, "Can't fight city hall.", huh. :o)

"Sinatra was heartbroken when Jack Kennedy broke it off; Sinatra had built a helicopter pad at his house."

Sounds gay.
No, it really does.
Who'd a thunk those two. {g}

"As for the Democrats and the media pursuing the Ramos-Compean case, I think not."

Not 'Rats, their quisling media.

'Rats are rarely at the forefront of a sliming, why risk negative public opinion when they've media quisling lackeys to do their dirty work for 'em?

IF this administration doesn't get in front of whats happened in TX, explain their position?
My fear is the quisling media will.

Believe me the quisling version will emphasize only what they want, won't a shred of truth/reality, while totally anti-administration. Like every damned thing they've "reported" [on], it'll go 180* contrary to this POTUS & it doesn't matter what the issue.
Been their mo for a very long, long time.

"They daren't offend their perceived voting demo. And they do have the tendrils of ownership encircling the genus hispanicus americanus."

Dems won't have to do a anything, maybe pull strings behind the scenes while looking indignant.
Their quisling media knows exactly what to do on their own.

...same ol' same old, pal.
