One of the most reliable and predictable themes in just about every DUmmie thread--and this goes for the KOmmies and the HUffies as well--is their absolutely seething HATRED of Christianity and Christians! This is at the heart of what makes them tick--and sick!
All in the name of "tolerance", naturally.
Look, the comments by Asmadasa Marchhare and Malicious McSpewin' were OBVIOUSLY, BLATANTLY, intentionally offensive! Edwards is just trying to cover his metrosexual @$$ by extracting a pseudo-apology from the blogresses, while at the same time placating the NUtroots support he needs for the primaries. He just wants this little unpleasantness to go away and hopes no one will notice. If need be, after prevailing in the primaries--for which he needs the NUtroots--he can always dump the Hysterical Sisters during the general campaign.
laughing out loud bump!
PJ you are a FR treasure!
"Not all that bad"--for someone who characterizes the majority of Americans as "morons who still buy into the whole christian thing"!!!
"If he loses the Catholic Vote over something that stupid, then, noone should vote Republican at all based on the scum they hire as consultants and advisers. Besides, John is a Baptist and I am certain he will not lose their vote."
Wow, can't argue with that "logic".
But as long as he caves to pressure from the LEFT, I'll accept him as OUR pandering, gutless wimp.
KOOKCINICH! He is CONSISTENTLY looney!
How about we start referring to leftists as "morons who still buy into the whole socialist utopia thing"?
Is that you, John Edwards?
LOL, PJ! Very good! Although I cannot picture Pretty Boy Edwards out in the wilderness, wearing a garment of camel's hair and eating locusts and wild honey!
Learn that the "Gospel of Judas" is just a late, transparently obvious piece of fiction created to propagate the Gnostic heresy.
Have you seen Michelle Malkin's hilarious video send-up of Asmadasa Marchhare's hate-filled hysteria?
The term "netroots" was in use on the Daily Kos. It's an easy play on that to come up with "nutroots." I think a lot of us here on FR have used that for some time.
And, amazingly, someone then posted it on Edwards' own blog! Countdown till it goes down the Memory Hole!
It's a Gnostic gospel, probably written by a Coptic sect in the late 2nd century. It's not in the Bible because the early church fathers did not accept it.
Don't worry, that's standard operating procedure in this court, and all appeals are automatically denied on grounds of testimony by an incompetent witness (me).
Figures.
Behind the Gnosticism craze: A freedom-loving, feminist, gay-friendly anarcho Creator, or just another pompous ass telling us what to do?
"Gnosticism is the most radical religion I know, because it is the only one that entertains the idea that God is evil -- and wants us all to rebel against his bullying, rapacious, jealous rule."Naturally a DUmmie Moonbat would be reading this cr@p.
The Pandragon Papers was hilarious. Is this woman really that foul? What kind of a guy would even go near her?
No big surprise there, hasn't that pretty much been the case with almost all tyrants and would-be tyrants for the last 2000 years? KOmmies, DUmmies, and HUffies certainly fit the would-be tyrant mold.
I think Genghis Khan may have been the proverbial exception that proves the rule. I understand that he mellowed out somewhat in his later years and became quite tolerant of all religions that were practiced in his huge transcontinental realm. He remained a sun worshiper until his death, but he stopped slaughtering people of other belief systems and actually forbade torture as a punishment. But I doubt that God gave him any brownie points for that since he was responsible for mercilessly slaughtering hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children in his career.
People like DUmmies and KOmmies who are in thrall to the notion of a collectivist utopia seem to have a similar history, they are quite willing to kill millions of innocent people in order to help them escape the twin eeeeviiils of capitalism and personal freedom.
