I sure hope Charles wins the Bill Bennett sponsored song parody contest (with or without my ideas) about Sandy Berger because that way the door will be "ajar" over there for other song parodies by him, especially the one about Barack Obama Superstar which should be READY in song form soon. Methinks the Bill Bennett show might be open for more song parodies in the future.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

Gore is going to run - as soon as he figures out how to neutralize Hillary. If he recruits Obama as his VP, he'll win the nomination and probably the 2008 election. He's riding a tidal wave of global warming misinformation, while Hillary doesn't have a similar signature issue.

Gore shouldn't be leaving doors open. My old man used to give me hell for that.

Excellent. If they nominate Gore, he will be relatively easy to defeat. Obama is the most dangerous out of the remaining contenders as it is more difficult to pin him as a retread and has-been.

He can leave it ajar all he wants - doesn't mean he'll be able to fit through it.
BTW, "inconvenient truth" my arse.
75 degrees on January 6 in Monmouth County, NJ is very convenient, my Internet-inventing friend.

And when he chooses his running mate I hope that he chooses Howard Dean to be his Vice President. Me too, but just for laughs.

ManBearPig! BTW, I caught a South Park rerun last week that I never saw before. It was about smoking. I thought it wouldn't be that good but it turned out to be one of the BEST. It really roasted Rob Reiner good. Or should that be well done?

If so, I hope he meets the fate of George McGovern. He ignored the Congress' concern about Russia building nuclear facilities in Iran, and that got us here. He is also largely responsible for the 10 million illegal aliens in the country.

Al Gore's incendiary anti-American remarks may have gone down nicely in Saudi Arabia, but they don't seem to be playing well at home. As you'll recall, Gore's George Galloway act at the Jeddah Economic Forum included unsubstantiated claims that the US government "indiscriminately rounded up" Arabs after September 11, held them in "unforgivable" conditions, and subjected them to "terrible abuses."
As the National Association of Chiefs of Police points out, Prince Albert "crossed the line of diplomatic decency by denigrating his own country within the Islamic world." They invited him to share any evidence he might have of "terrible abuses" with Congress, and described his anti-American allegations as "shrill," "loathsome" and "ugly" three words that increasingly fit the Democratic Party as a whole.
Rep Peter King (R-NY) didn't think much of Gore's rhetoric either. Calling his conduct "disgraceful," King observed, "Either he's lost it or he's putting his hatred of Bush ahead of America's security" another comment that could easily be applied to today's Democrats in general
