FYI Any registered FReeper can insert any keyword or topic that they want to. It is a very useful function for categorizing threads by relevant subjects. It allows others to easily find threads on a specific topic or subject or name.

That said the keyword function is often abused as you have seen here. The mods can remove keywords and can and will rebuke or zot those who abuse them. I have seen it done. I don't know if they have the ability to remove specific keywords or have to wipe the slate clean. You could ask them if you want the keywords cleaned up on this thread.

If they have to wipe the slate clean you (or someone) will have to reinsert the keywords you want. The mods have the ability to see who put what keywords in so they can do something about the offender/s if they feel it is appropriate.

Sometimes people just use keywords to make jokes when the thread is aburd and the mods let it stand. Obviously not the case here.

Did you support passage of S.2611, the immigration reform bill passed by the United States Senate that would allow millions of illegal aliens to obtain legal status and a path to citizenship?

Did you support passage of H.R.4437, the border security bill passed by the House of Representatives?

What potential 2008 presidential candidate or candidates do you believe would be a good president?

Cong. Tancredo has a lifetime rating of "99" from the American Consrvative Union. Cong. Tancredo has receieved a rating of "100" from the National Right to Life Committee every session he has served in Congress with the exception of one session for which he received a rating of "91". Cong. Tancredo was awarded a grade of "A" for 2006 by the National Rifel Association (NRA). For 2005, Cong. Tancredo received a grade of "A" from the National Taxpayers Union and was ranked as the fifth (5th) strongeest supporter responsible tax and spending policies in the entire United States House of Representatives.,

That's a conservative record.

What Republicans don't have much faith that Cong. Tancredo is actually a conservative?

Firstly, thank you for the info on Cong. Tancredo which confirms my thought that he is truly a conservative. Even better than I had expected.

You have misunderstood my point and that is my fault. I didn't mean to infer that Republicans don't have faith that Tancredo is conservative. I meant that Republicans won't support a real conservative. Scan most any thread on Tom Tancredo and I think you'll see what I mean.

There is more to Tancredo than just illegal immigration.

Tancredo is a solid conservative Republican who voted against the Medicare Rx boondoggle and other pork-barrel spending bills.

Tancredo also is a strong advocate of human rights in 3rd world countries.

Unfortunately, the biggest mark against Tancredo is his loose lips. He has made some bone-headed statements, including his Miami slur, nuking Mecca, and criticizing Rep. Pence's immigration plan, a plan that was similiar to his own 2003 proposal.

Therefore, Tancredo's shot of winning the Presidency is nothing more than a pipe dream largely dreamt by the editors at World Net Daily.

It's sad when telling the truth is considered to be "loose lips." }:-(

Yep, you're right. Sorry about that. It won't happen ever again.
