The way to ban Limbaugh from the airwaves is to make him as deadly dull as the Err America folks, thus driving away listeners, thus driving away sponsors, and then Rush could no longer charge those confiscatory advertising rates.

But that ain't likely to happen--unless Rush himself gets bored with doing his gig and would rather golf all day.

As for O'Reilly, he's not O'Really a conservative, so I don't care.

I'm not a lawyer, so I don't have the slightest clue as to the point where hate speech becomes unconstitutional.

Let me know if Rush starts openly advocating and inciting violence against political opponents. Then we'll have something to talk about.

Or start listening to your own violence-advocating DUmmiecrats like Alec Baldwin and Jim Webb and the people who approve of that "Death to the President" movie and . . . the list goes on and on.

Sorry, but I will support their right to say the stupidest, most hateful things about me that they want - when we start saying this speech is good and ok, but that speech is bad and outlawed, we slip into some really nasty areas of who gets to decide which is which.

I'd much rather see some laws enacted (or re-enacted) requiring equal time for both sides and probably some penalties and fines for lying.

At no point did I say they SHOULD be banned. I merely questioned the limits of free speech. For example, posting an idea such as "assassinating a public official" is a crime. Would you consider this a limitation on free speech?

So what about that "Death to the President" assassination movie, DUmmie? Do you approve? Or what about when Alec Baldwin suggested murdering Henry Hyde? Or what about just recently when Jim Webb said he wants to punch President Bush? I'm sure there are LOTS of leftist violence-advocating examples I'm forgetting.
