Rudy might keep you from getting blown to hell by the terrorists. Hillary will light the fuse for the terrorists.

Rudy is good on law and order, and that is the most conservative issue of all. Read his book Leadership.

I agree we need better candidates, but if it's between Rudy and Hillary, I'm voting for Rudy.

For every one of you who swallows pinciple and votes for Rudy, there will be at least one social conservative who simply won't show up to vote at all.

Their view: if the choice is between two social liberals, what's the point?

Rudy is conseravative ONLY on law and order. The rest of his record is a liberal's dream. They would love to have this guy as their President if they could not elect Hillary or whomever.

AP story? NYTimes articles?
Come on man!

I'm a NH voter.
I'm going to give Romney, Rudy, Pataki, and others an opportunity to tell me what they would do as POTUS.
Unlikely I could vote for McPain.
Give 'em a chance.

How can he be good on law & order when he gladly removes the most basic way to maintain law & order, removing a persons ability to defend themselves?

Next point?

I agree 100%. A vote for Rudy is a vote to finally destroy the party by pushing all of the Reagan conservatives and Christians out the door. AND WE ARE NOT LEAVING WITHOUT A FIGHT!

I'm a member of that party but I disagree with you. I wish it were otherwise but they won't take matching federal funds which handicaps their ability to campaign. In PA our senatorial candidate of two years ago campaigned against Arlen Specter and not the two party system. It was a debacle.

A good third party needs to get off of the idea of sending a president to Washington. First they need to capture a few state houses and a few congressional seats. I don't believe either the Constitution or Libertarian party can do those things.

I agree, but it should NOT get to voting for the less evil of the New York anti-gun, pro abortion liberals!

HAve you ever been to a GOP convention? It anin't made up of Rudy supporters and Harriet Myers types. This will be the 1976 convention all over again -- The Reagan conservative wing (true Republicans) vs. the Rockefeller wing.

No GOP nominee can win without a Southern strategy or the Christian vote. NONE!

Frankly, I don't give a damn. I want a strong leader who will do what is required to defeat the IslamoNazis. If we allow a Democratic president in there who makes nice with these maniacs we belong in a lunatic asylum ourselves.

The "uncompromising" so-called conservatives are the ones who gave us Bill Clinton

Just my opinion of course but I believe republicans who were dissatisfied with Bush Sr. gave us Bill Clinton by voting for Ross Perot.

If that's what you mean by your statement then I agree.

As much as I dislike Rudy and McCain I would vote for either in the general election before I would help Hillary or any other democrat win.

The time to get the candidate we want is in the primaries.

Are you saying that there are no conservatives who fit thaqt bill? That only the most liberal GOP candidate in the history of the party will be tough on terrorism and the Islamofacist?

Where the hell do you live?

People who act in a way that the result is Dems getting elected have no right to call themselves conservatives

People who push ultraliberal pseudo-republicans are absolutely not conservatives. By your logic, if this country took a shift towrds Islam, we should all convert? I DON'T THINK SO!

Then go run a candidate of your own and see how far you get.

If Rudy ever becomes President, the people will still be sovereign. I'm not going to go crazy about it. I'm sure a lot of Freepers will, but a lot of them get hysterical about anything and everything.

Giuliani single-handedly turned around New York City and spent lots of time fighting liberal judges who coddled ever liberal case they could. The liberals here hated him for that, and most of them still resent for cleaning up the city. He did an amazing job, and did it with panache.

Rudy is a great man, but not a perfect man. He would take fighting the war on terror very seriously, seeing how he behaved when his own town was attacked.
