So, the AFA is expected to write misleading headlines to sell newspapers and/or advertising space now? The headline was your typical headline. For some reason you expect the headline to be more than a headline.

Again, my point here is about this article and the AFA's making a mountain out of this mole hill. The AFA has followed Walmarts actions for some time and have seen results from previous boycotts. The Snopes link I gave you demonstrated exactly that.

Warning! Do not eat too many.
Actually you can get them at Wal Mart. :-(
But Target sells them too. :-)

I don't shop at Target either.
They kicked the Salvation Army out at Christmas.
I think it's down to K-Mart or Meijers (sp?)

Where Would Jesus Shop? (WWJS)
Has anyone on this thread ever bought flowers for their wives?
Has anyone on this thread ever flown on a plane with a male flight attendant?

Jesus shopped at local vendors.
Maybe I should to.
Send a message to the BIGS: shop at the 5 & Dime.

IMHO, boycotts are poor stewardship.
I could be doing something productive in the time it takes to keep up with all of them.

You know, Amazon contributes 5% of their online sales to me too, when the sale is made though a link on one of my sites. Same thing as described here. I'm not sure this can really be called a 'contribution', it is a 'commission' - a percentage of sales generated.
Tempest in a teapot.

A quick search of Wal-Mart's website turned up the following number of items for sale:Gay - 1148 Lesbian - 468 Transgender - 40 Bisexual - 38 Gay Marriage - 26
Ok. I did a "quick search" of the Wal-Mart website. I plugged in the word "gay" and I turned up the movies Flubber, Spy Hard (with Leslie Nielsen), True Crime, Space Cowboys, a book called "Explorations of Topology: Map Coloring, Surfaces and Knots", many books on Religion and Sprituality (presumably advocating for the most part anti-gay ideas), poems by Robert Gay, a novel by William Gay, a history of the Enola Gay, several hundred murder mysteries, etc.
Yes, there a bunch of gay-themed novels and books on gay issues. But other than books, what "gay" items are you referring to? "Gay" stereo systems? "Gay" bicycles? "Gay" shoes?

It was AFA's reference not mine, sorry I didn't place it in quotes to make it clear. Try variations on the keyword. I have no idea what word they may have used.
