There really should be an All-Star Cereal Box thread on FR. Yea, it would be graphic heavy, but that one and the Al Gore "Cheaties" Box, deserve to be honored in some fashion....(other nominees also accepted.)

KOmmies, DUmmies, and other assorted moon-bats are required to be on the wrong side of history because it is the easier path.

Defending right requires logic, reason, historical reference, consistency, but most of all moral character. All in short supply on the left.

Anyone hear how Charles is doing on his summer vacation/mission?

I'm not saying, necessarily, that Bush wanted Israel to respond the way that it did this particular time, only that his wanton failure to engage in a meaningful peace process set the stage for the meltdown of Palestinian self-governance and the spiraling Israeli violence.

More proof the Kossacks live in an alternative universe. What have the Israelis been doing for the last decade or so except bending over backwards to set up the "Palestinians" with their own state? Somehow it's Israel's fault that the Palis use their newly found autonomy to elect terrorists, harbor the same, and stage cross-border kidnappings?

The United States is only funding one side, and only sanctioning one side.

Ia he suggesting we supply weapons to the terrorist side, too?

The progressive left is tired of it and unwilling to remain silent after thirty years of intellectual terrorism, lies and bullshit promises about peace negotiations from the Zionist wing of the party

Same point as above. It's the "Zionist"'s fault for not negotiating peace better.

It would be interesting to hear his take on the latest Mideast events. Don't know if Lutherans are into the Armageddon thing or not but wonder if he has a theological view of what is going on there.

"Don't know if Lutherans are into the Armageddon thing or not but wonder if he has a theological view of what is going on there."

As a Lutheran (but certainly not as qualified as Charles is to speak) let me say this: Yes, Armageddon being from the Book of Revelations, you could say Lutherans are 'into that thing'. But, even within Lutheran sects (there are a number) there may be differences in beliefs. Maybe it's all that beer...

Maybe there should be arm wrestling contests to settle the differences.

It's gone a little beyond that, unfortunately. Hey, it all goes back to us being dumb humans (or should I say 'Norms'). If we were DU'ers we'd see the light, right? NAH!

Zuniga claims he "grew up in a war zone" - however, actual military operations in the civil war in El Salvador did not begin until January 10, 1981 and Zuniga's family moved to Chicago in 1980.

In 1979-1980 there were random assassinations, including the assassination of Archbishop Romero, and various arrests but no actual warfare.

So, they moved here 26 years ago. We have another 'poseur'. Why am I not surprised?

Me? I grew up in a war zone. And there was one clear lesson I learned -- there will never be peace unless both sides get tired of the fighting and start seeking an alternative.

Then you didn't learn anything. There is "peace" throughout the world ONLY because ONE SIDE got tired of fighting. Your stupidity and emotionalism would get us all killed. Thank GOD you are representing Democrats - I hope every 06 candidate parrots your "advice" re foreign policy...

And this holiday season, all across America:

Jewish Dem: FOR ONCE G.W. Bush got something right... ...that Syria is the key to clamping down on Hezbollah. Talking "shit" to Blair. Hezbollah is wholly financed by Iran. To the tune of $250,000,000 a year. Syrian "intelligence" thugs are integrated with the Hezzies down by the border. Ride in the same Ford Explorers

Moonbat Dem: Bush got nothing right sitting there like a little goddamned rajah, chowing with his mouth hanging open, yammering about "they need to stop this shit." He knows f*ckall about anything but his complete arrogance and ignorance combines to give us pronouncements like that. And the other day he couldn't care less about the war breaking out because he was too goddamned excited about eating a pig. Since we can't impeach the little motherf*cker, I say every Democrat worth a tin shit ought to replay that little snippet of him spraying bread all over Blair and smirking about "stop this shit" on every campaign ad they make. He is a murderous little incompetent who needs to be run out of office on a rail. Goddamn him, I'm so pissed I can't even type.

Jewish Dem: ......these people will throw Israel to the Wolves!

Or one side WINS decisively, much like WWII.

the Dem establishment, which is vigorously and heavily pro-Israel

Right. I think a Dem President "vigorously" signed a piece of paper with Arafat or something... or was that Chamberlain? Both?

No, that was before my time here. As a vet (not a Vietnam Vet), I hate these damn poseurs. Don't ever allow he and I to come face-to-face!
