Also, notice how they are aghast that Simcox hasn't built the fence yet, even though he had to wait to see if the County was going to try and block construction. Meanwhile, the Senate refuses to allocate funds for the length of fence they approved earlier, but are Simcox's attackers in a twist about that?

For your information, there was an election in my state yesterday, and I had more important things to do than sit at the computer arguing with you.

IMO, Simcox himself is the one damaging the reputation of the Minutemen. I have nothing against the volunteers; I think that most are sincere and are spending a great deal of time, money, and effort in a worthy cause.

As I've said repeatedly about the Republican Party losing is moorings, "What does it profit a political party to win a majority but lost is soul?" I ask the same about Free Republic. We used to be consistantly conservative as that was our mission to promote conservative ideas, candidates, causes, etc. But now the anti-conservatives and moderates are allowed to run amok here and we've lost focus. The daily smearing and trashing of solid conservative Rep. Tom Tancredo is ample evidence of this. And some of the very same people using leftist tools to trash Simcox and the MCDC are the people I'm talking about.
