I think he's really on "our side" and wants the facts to come out, but can't reveal them himself.
You notice he's provided no evidence to refute the negative facts, and he's been very diligent at bumping the threads so that more people could see the negative facts.
Also, he keeps asking questions that provoke more digging into the negative.
