I agree with your general point. However, I must ask what is the percentage female enrollment just down the road at NC State?
The appropriate follow-on question is exactly what is creating the difference. Could it be that the curricula and disciplines offered at UNC Chapel Hill appeal more to females than males?
Additionally, I must also ask what is the net benefit the taxpayer is gaining at NC State versus UNC CH? What is the net benefit to males versus females at UNC CH?
