Viewing all the 'tombstoning' on this thread reminds me of the self-imposed segregation they suffer. They can't afford the light of reason, patriotism or fealty to one's country to infiltrate their confusion. That would mean they'd have to think for a change instead of just emote.

This self-imposed segregation is actually a form of slavery to a 'cause'. But, of course, they're incapable of seeing it that way.
