We spent Saturday at the Ice Grottos. After a week in Aspen, we're finally acclimated to breathing at 8,000+ feet, so this was a glorious day, the best so far --- we read for hours on the shore of a mountain stream as our daughter played with dolls in the sand.

Aaah! Another rich, self-appointed, defender of the little people. Hangs around with all the common people in places like Aspen, Vail or Gstaad.

I can't believe that I read the whole post. This "effort" is just wrong on so many levels I don't know where to begin. As so many pebbles in my shoe... So after a week in Aspen, Is there really such a thing as a jet-setting web-poster? Reading for hours on the shore of a mountain stream? Banks maybe, but shore? And your kid playing with dolls and sand during same hours meanwhile? Right. And the part where he "rushed to the site" maybe it's just me but do real men "rush to the site for an explanation"? And his wife writing "check after check" to liberal candidates. Guess who wears the pants in that household. Meteor Blades? What mother would name her kid Meteor Blades? And he calls himself a "Committed Progressive"? This wimp can't even call a spade a spade. I must be out of touch with the times. I can't believe people can actually make a living putting "progressive" positions on the web. I do however enjoy the spectacle of the totally devout pinkos attacking the more anal ytical amongst them. How does one get to establish what will be the "official" position of the left? Doesn't sound like too much opportunity for "give a little, get a little" with this crowd. Must be that tolerance and inclusion thing kicking in again. Anyway, I've ranted for long enough. David Brooks has thrown down the gauntlet on Markos.

So far, Markos hasn't publicly responded to the accusation at all, but that private e-mail he sent out is damning.

However, if you go to www.dailykos.com (front and center) you will see that he is trying to destroy Brooks' credibility.

That's just what the Clintons did. Don't deny the charges, instead, focus on destroying the accuser.

It's a WAR, baby! This will be really fun to watch as it unfolds.
