Is it Possible that they "got to" Fitzgerald
That is he was blackmailed, coerced or even bribed to layoff Rove? Maybe threatened members of his family?
I think that Fitzgerald is a good guy, but the stakes in this are huge and he's up against some of the most powerful men in the world.
Just seems so weird that after this long and this bringing Rove to the G.J. so many times that its just dropped like this.

10. Wasn't Fitz the same guy who got an Illinois Governor and maybe even some Mob guys behind bars? If so, then he's probably fairly well-protected and has super-thick skin. I doubt they got to him and I doubt the investigation is over. We're basing everything on what Rove's Attorney said. Until I hear from Fitz and he officially wraps up the Grand Jury Investigation, I'll assume Rove is still somehow under the spotlight.

13. I have been afraid for Fitz's life since this started Maybe a mysterious car wreck, or some odd accident. That would have been too obvious. Pressure is what I think.

16. Fitzgerald never existed.
He is a hologram. Part of Karl Rove's plan to produce the illusion that an investigation was going on.
The too-perfect movie star looks should have been a dead giveaway.

19. CSPAN
One caller, ask if Bush offered Fitzgerald a Judgeship.

22. truth
The sad truth is that Bushco sent in its crack legal team (hence, 'sealed vs sealed') and solved this little problem just like they did the 2000 elections.

26. O ye of so very little faith: Fitzy isn't done yet. At all.
One day, you will feel silly for having doubted him, I promise.
