And who is the only reliable supporter of Israel ON THE PLANET besides Israel?
Yes, evangelical Christians. I just don't get the stupidity of some of the "Jewish" organizations in regards to Christians. We are their only supporters.

I'm guessing that Foxman is a JINO, Jewish In Name Only or a cultural Jew. In other words, just a liberal who believes very little or nothing of the Torah.

Foxman is a tool of the media industrial complex, the token Jew is an increasingly antisemitic liberal establishment.

He has little, if anything, to say about the Islamic hate-mongers who have taken over so many of our universities, let alone the foreign genocide advocates they support.

I am a Jew (it's not a slur, btw, Abe) and I live in Lubbock Texas, the alleged buckle of the Bible Belt, and certainly a stronghold of Evangelical Christianity. I have never experienced anything but acceptance and support from my Christian neighbors. The only antisemites I have encountered are a few knuckle-draggers from the literal fringes areas of town, and some recently indoctrinated moonbats from the small lefty cell at Texas Tech.

Once in a while, someone invites me to church. So far, nobody has extended such an invitation at gunpoint and only a raving paranoid or a lefty shill (eg Foxman) would pretend to see it as some kind of genocidal plot. Sometimes I accept, sometimes I don't. That's how freedom works and Foxman needs to get used to it.

"What? Coke isn't putting out Santa Packs anymore?"

I know..it's a serious tradition here in Atlanta - apparently they don't want to offend people so they are going with an all polar bear Christmas theme.

Thank you, I was going to bring up the fact that crazy Muslims want to Islamize America, but Mr. Foxman seems to be unconcerned about that.

You bring up a very good point. There are a lot of secular Jews who wind up on the liberal/leftist side of politics. Look at Chomsky. They don't see the damage they are doing to themselves.

LOL. The arrogance of someone naming themselves 'prophet'. As if you speak FOR God. The founding fathers made sure that people such as yourself would not be able to demand that I or any other bow to your form of religion. Really chaps your ass doesn't it.

Wussies.

I drink Pepsi anyway, I can't stand Coke.

Is it time for a meaningless boycott alert? :)

"Foxman is an anti-Christian raving bigot who strongly supports the ACLU's attempts to remove all traces of Christianity from public discourse."

Correct. I remember his antics and wild claims pre-Passion movie.

Feder writes an excellent article.

I mean Feder of course, not Foxman.

I thought you meant Foxman, and I was hoping you were being sarcastic.

Foxman has the endorsement of the media, the academic community, and the whole range of publicly recognized diversity activists. Who are we to question such intellectually-ordained wisdom?

As a Person of Jewishness, I would certainly feel much safer and more comfortable if all the wild-eyed fundies here in Lubbock were moved out and replaced with a diverse multicultual community of devout Muslims, Gaia worshipping New Age shamanists, and atheistic Marxists.

/major sarcasm

Some Jewish patriots actually bankrolled the Revolutionary army though. One guy actually bankrupted himself in the process, but I suspect he must have thought the price was fair if he took the risk.

There've been Jews in America almost since the very beginning, if not the very beginning (Maranos, and hidden Jews etc.)

;) Whatever. I'm down with most socially conservative Christian positions, and I'm more than happy to acknowledge that America is and always has been a Christian nation, because that means it must be a Judeo-Christian nation.

Holy Cr@p-monkeys, Batman!

You mean that all those churchs in America actually DO something... like conduct Christian services?

Golly!

And just how hard did Foxman have to think in order to figure THIS most 'imponderable of mysteries' out?

---

Foxman thinks, "Golly, there sure are a lot of churches in America... I wonder what they're doing... WHAT! Teaching Christianity! No Fricking way, dude! That's gotta be illegal, or something."

(Foxman's friend Fruitcake passes the bong back to Foxman.)

While we're at it, when will Foxman and other diversity activists get around to legalizing cannibalism?
This, after all, is a traditional aspect of many cultures, and a religious rite of some significance in many of them. A 2000 year old Christian conspiracy is no doubt behind this bigoted policy, preserving the prejudices of ancient Judaism to the detriment of nature-based faiths from the world over.
Love thy neighbor, with fava beans and a good Chianti.

/surely I don't have to

Without Jews there would be no Christianity. So I thank you for the values -- and more -- that you gave us.

I hear you. He's definitely a JINO, as another FReeper so concisely put it.

It wasn't founded to be a Christian nation, and you are right that it was founded to allow us all to find our own way, or not. But culturally, there has been a heavy Christian element, and this has been a critical part of its success.

I think it's an important distinction. And several of the founding father were deist. Or had strong deistic impulses and philosophical influence.

Have you not heard of Haym Solomon?

I might be wrong here but were not all the Founding Fathers Christian? I don't ever recall seeing a name like Saul Goldberg or Izzie Feinstein on the Declaration of Independence.

To the Hebrew Congregations in the cities of Philadelphia, New York, Charleston and Richmond:
Gentlemen,—The liberality of sentiment towards each other which marks every political and religious denomination of men in this country, stands unparalleled in the history of nations.
The affection of such a people is a treasure beyond the reach of calculation: and the repeated proofs which my fellow-citizens have given of their attachment to me, and approbation of my doings, form the purest source of my temporal felicity. The affectionate expressions of your address again excite my gratitude and receive my warmest acknowledgments.
The power and goodness of the Almighty were strongly manifested in the events of the late glorious revolution: and his kind interposition in our behalf, has been no less visible in the establishment of our present equal government. In war he directed the sword, and in peace he has ruled in our councils. My agency in both has been guided by the best intentions and a sense of the duty which I owe my country.
And as my exertions have hitherto been amply rewarded by the approbation of my fellow-citizens, I shall endeavour to deserve a continuance of it by my future conduct. May the same temporal and eternal blessings which you implore for me, rest upon your congregations.
