"Ronald Reagan's two landslide elections and the 1994 Congressional elections suggest that statesmen of a caliber similar to Ronald Reagan or the Founders can defeat "professional" politicians whose re-elections are dependent upon socialism...Could the Constitution be restored and our republic be saved or resurrected if men like Ronald Reagan and the Founders could be recruited to come forward and seek election? These are the two major points that critics of this series will have to challenge.
It also important to note that our efforts to restore the Constitution will not stand or fall on these two points. More over, the burden of proof for anyone who wants to put forth an alternative plan, will have to include some plausible explanation of how politicians who are substantially different in character or belief structure could restore the Constitution where Founder-like people could not, or alternatively that Founder-like people are no longer present in our population and that there are no more conservatives similar to Ronald Reagan.
In short, if people like the Founders or Ronald Reagan can't restore the Constitution, Who can? And how?

The office will make the man, but the potential must be there to begin with. If not, it will break him. We've seen recent proof of that.
Bump for a new paradigm of public service, forsaking all others.

Who else would have had the guts to walk away from Rekjevik? Who else would have deployed Pershing 2s to force the Soviets to remove their SS20s. This was a unique man.

There
is another Reagan out there...
When we find him (or her) we are going to have to deploy all means necessary to protect him (or her) from what we all know will be hurled at them from the anti American socialist democrat party.
Fact is, anyone with the abilities, morals, ethics, love of country, of another Ronald Reagan, will also have the smarts to know that aspiring to be P.O.T.U.S. is a road that is landmined with hate, personal attack, and frankly, deadly intent from the America haters...
I'm beginning to believe that we will see the return of God's beloved Son before we ever see someone of Reagans quality again...

I think you are correct, there is another Ronald Reagan out there, but when he appears he is going to be attacked like never before.
The dems give us the clintons, and they think everyone should bow down.
The road to the Whitehouse is a dangerous one, especially for someone with morals, ethics, and character. Easier to pay people off, and smear the people who tell the truth, than it is to run on beliefs and character. Ask bill.
