Thanks also for the rebuttal link that you gave. Holy crap! The guy who wrote the rebuttal is out of his mind. For a good example of classic 'head in the sand' syndrome, the likes of which are seldom seen, I recommend that everyone read the rebuttal comments. The kind of denial, anti-Americanism, and history revision seen in those rebuttals is simply stunning. Sadly, the denial and lunacy displayed there are indicative of how the vast majority of Europe thinks. I for one will be extremely disgusted if we ride to Europe's rescue when it completely implodes, yet again, in the not so distant future.

We Americans are pretty materialistic but most of us have kept our 'morals' - so far.

The writer of The Rebuttal sees only 3 evils in the world: 1) Israel, 2) George Bush "and his handlers", and 3) capitalism. In that order. Nowadays, as in the 1930s, appeasement and Jew-killing go hand-in-hand.

Cowardice is only of value when it will save you. IMO, it usually doesn't. But especially not in this case.

I have to ask myself - did it spread from America to Europe or the other way around? We obviously have a vast number of lunatics in Congress.
