What country do you live in? France??

Because this great country......the United States of America.......does NOT have a 'liberal President.'

"Oh no you are not a troll, not at all."
Again, you keep confusing conservatives with trolls.

Would the Washington Time publish "Tortured for Christ",which is one of their articles today?BTW,I don't have a mission statement stating that I'm Christian either.

Carries no weight with me -

Of course it doesn't. You advocate anarchy: if a "Christian" decides a law is unconstitutional, he is free to ignore that law. He is also free to ignore a Federal Court Order, even one upheld by the US Supreme Court.

Sorry. This is not a theocracy, where one group of believers can ignore the law.

Moore got what he deserved. Now he'll start sucking cash out of you saps with his cultic view of Christianity.

Since Moore has no idea what "Render unto Caesar" means, he should never be given the authority of Caesar.

Didn't you know you're not allowed to post articles critical of the Pres., unless you want to be called names of course. I've quickly learned that to have questions about anything the Pres. is doing is pounced on as being either a troll or worse. I didn't realize until just now, that when I voted for Bush I gave up any right to critize any of his policies.

I would vote for Bush again but I will not give up the right to critize him. It isn't even about whether this article is correct or whether Meirs is the right nomination, it's about the uncomfortable feeling that I've been getting lately that you have to be in lock step with a certain thinking or else.

The more you post, the more ignorant you reveal yourself to be.

Are you unaware of the responsibility of the Congress? Are you aware of how weak the leadership in the Senate has been, and how obstreporous the RINOS there have been?

Are you aware of how much this President has done in direct conflict with the Democrat ideology?

I guess not......because otherwise you wouldn't have made such a stupid statement.

You can call me whatever you want.

I stand behind the President because I trust him, I admire him, and I pray daily for him. I know he is a man of God, I know he reads his bible and asks God to lead him. I and millions of others like me pray for the President may times a day. We put our faith in God, but we trust the President. Yes, he could do something in the future to change that trust and if that were to happen, I would not support him, but for 13 years I have respected him. I can not answer your question about being a RINO. Names really do not effect me.

Good grief, this is getting tiresome. Wonder why all True Conservatives® think anyone that disagrees with them is a Bushbot?

it's about the uncomfortable feeling that I've been getting lately that you have to be in lock step with a certain thinking or else.

This must be a joke.

"Lately" the irrational, anti-Bush venom on this forum has reached epic proportion.

Many who support the President are deeply discouraged because of how out of control the anger and hysteria against President Bush has been around here, making freepers indistinguishable from DU trolls in their vitriolic posts.

What you perceive is not even close to an accurate assessment of what's been going on here.

I said you were no gentleman. Either way I could not be wrong.

To be honest, I would have to go back and read what Meg had to say. Have been trying to cook and post barbs here on FR.

I would never insult a lady, honest.

It may not be your "accurate assessment" but it sure is mine. Yesterday and the day before, I was on the Rush Limbaugh thread. He was being smeared, along with anybody else that didn't agree with the President about Miers. Rush has been a strong supporter of the President and because he doesn't agree with the President on this one thing, he is being called all sorts of names. If you want to call people who don't agree with Bush on Meirs "Anti Bush venom" feel free. I don't agree. Not agreeing with the President all the time is not "Anti Bush".

It has been nine days since President Bush shocked the world with his nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court of the United States

The whole world? Really?

Tenure on FR does not magically embue anyone with any special wisdom or intelligence or knowledge

Anymore than tenure on the federal court of appeals does...

But, in both cases it leaves a track record allowing reasonable judgment as to what wisdom, intelligence, or knowledge obtains. Lack of history isn't a basis for trust in either case.
