Wonder what the status of the Landrieu home(s)?

This guy is a loser. I guess for a New Orleans he's marvelous, but for anywhere else, he is a gasbag.

He must not have talked to his PR guy first. I think it would have made a better statement if he had rented in Dallas.

"Mayor Ray Nagin has purchased a home for his family in Dallas and enrolled his young daughter in school there."
Hopefully the school is close enough to walk to, otherwise grayound is going to have to send a bus from out of state to pick her up everyday.

I can not believe that Nagin has not yet resigned his office. Has he no shame?

Fleeing mayor PING!! When does his term expire?? When does the RAT party of LA expire? I think there may be a disintegratin' party situation happening down there, until Sharpton moves in.

I can't even read this. Next time when a Hurricane hits, speak out and use your bus-to-the-polls plan that you used on election day. That way, you have them all loaded up and ready to take out of the city, and therefore you won't have: Mad Max beyond Thunderdome at the Superdome.
To: Colonial Warrior
damn straight it will and the GOP better not muck this one up!

I hope he realizes that it wasn't the federal government jurisdiction down there in the first place.

Agree. It's too weird that he buys a house in another state. Surely there was a house available to buy somewhere/anywhere in his own state. My guess: he's making his future plans now because he doesn't figure he'll be reelected. Must make the citizens of NO feel real good when their own mayor bails. On second thought, they're probably happy.

"The truth is gonna come out..." says Nagin. Nagin and Blanco both had better hope it doesn't. Their political careers will be soooo over
