Actually, it looks like a "farm boot" where I come from. Absolutely essential on a farm. Are they wellington boots (i.e. rubber), or are they leather like the riggers?
And I think I have a pair of snow boots that is quite close to that. (I have so many SHOES!!!)
They are, I think very much like snowboots - but snowboots are virtually nonexistent in Ireland.
I've only got two pairs of boots, the riggers and my going out boots, and a pair of shoes for rare occasions when I wear a shirt and tie!
Thanks, IT! How are you today? Tonight?
I am fine, tonight - thanks for asking!

Wellington's here are leather, with a "short" top, about 4" up from the vamp.
"They are, I think very much like snowboots - but snowboots are virtually nonexistent in Ireland."
Then you should live in Arizona...we have EVERYthing here! (Because we have all kinds of weather here!)
The only things I don't have in my closet now (though I HAVE had in the past) are cowboy boots. And I will have some before the year is out. My gift to myself. (But no spurs...) ;o]

If you mean rain, no. Sunshine, yes. Some parts of the county and the neighboring counties are under flash-flood watch or warning, but since I live "uphill" it doesn't apply to me. I'll watch the news tonight and see how many people have to pay emergency services for driving in flowing water...ie; "The Stupid Driver Law." ;o]

Would that be like the Star Trek "tractor beam?"
I've been on tractors, but I'd rather ride a Harley...;o]

Would that be like the Star Trek "tractor beam?" I dunno, did the Enterprise's tractor beam ever pull out a cow stuck in a drain [ditch]?

Am I getting paid for this?
I wanna go to lunch.
Who took my baseball bat?
Is this seat taken?
Do the voices in my head bother you?
