Ouch.
(a) Andy was gone from DUmmieland since Friday night, when he contemplated.
(b) A sudden upsurge in "views"--without a corresponding proportional increase in "comments"--on the DUmmie FUnnies last night, as revelations about spats between Andy and the DUmmie "termite."
(c) Much mystery about why sometimes Andy has used the name of his deceased father, rather than his own real name.
(d) Discovery that apartments in San Francisco appear to have thin walls.
(e) Ongoing--and successful--identification of the DUmmies involved in Andyscam.
All I remember at the moment, sir.

Thanks for the recap...
Could you post LINK to DUmmie thread you referenced in your Reply #4333?
I asked my sister...who could open her check book and take care of all the bills. She turned me down.

How MANY diseases is Scamdy claiming to have? Hepatitis A, gall bladder operation, pancreatic cancer... What else? Terminal laziness?
This is OT but I know a Venezuelan woman friend of my girlfriend from work who is getting divorced. Her husband is a Cuban resident of the USA. She has been in the USA for 3 years and has a work permit and Social Security #. Since she is getting divorced, she is worried about being deported back to Venezuela. However, doesn't the fact that she has a SS# plus the fact that she has been here for 3 years plus the fact she is in a profession with a shortage of workers allow her to remain? I need an answer because I cracked a joke about the food being good at the Krome Detention Center and my girlfriend screamed my head off about being an SOB. Then she wouldn't stop. That was the real reason I split out for a while on Saturday to the library to make a few posts on this thread. My head is still splitting from all the screaming aimed in my direction. Sooooooo I could use some answers to my question to ease that woman's fears and so I don't get screamed at again this weekend.
Do you have the LINK to that DUmmie thread?
I don't recall seeing this before. The date of this thread is March 9. Poster Stephanie...Guess I should start doing some screen shots!
Just having a social security number means nothing.
This lady needs a good divorce-immigration attorney.
By the way, the body-count is:
We have identified (as real people, and not surprisingly, real people who are affluent and with plenty of bucks to help Andy) 7 DUmmie accomplices.
We are still looking for 9 others.
What about having 3 years residence working in the USA? BTW, she just had her work permit renewed for another year so I think she is OK to stay for at least one more year.
You said her husband is from Cuba, and some of this relies on his own status here--did she get his same immigration status as he had, when she married him?
As for her work permit, yeah, sure, she's good for the length of that.
If she works in a field with a scarcity of her skills and talents, she is probably going to have to get her employer to get an H1 visa for her.
Also possible that this DUFU edition was posted in some forum somewhere. I'll google a bit later and perhaps find if this is son.

As of a few minutes ago, about 77,200 "views."
To think that four weeks ago, the then-record had been circa 3,900 "views"--and that the average DUmmie FUnnies garnered circa 1,800 "views."
That average is way out skew now.
Any Cuban who arrives here is automatically a resident of the USA. Not a citizen but resident. As to the H1 visa, I'll look into it. That sounds like the way she could stay here. Personally I think they were OVER-reacting.
