287. I hope Andy really does have pancreatic cancer
so Will won't have his reputation tarnished. "
Hahahahaha!
OMG,
Someone really typed that?
Now that is a real nutso there!
Oh man, that's just got to be a troll. But then again....
Set aside the fact that these people are socialists, hell-bent on bringing socialist/communist rule to the US. Set aside the fact they have no morals. Set aside the fact that these people absolutely despise the fact that our country is truly great and powerful. Set aside the fact that these people would resort to outright sedition and treason if they could hurt their fellow countrymen. Would you really want this group of incompetents running your local McDonald's, much less the country?? Sheez, these idiots need to have their humiliation publicly broadcast so everyone from fly-over country can see exactly what the typical leftist democrat is made of: A bunch of whiny-assed man-children who are so gullible and blinded that they are scammed by a second-rate "political-activist" who meets their ideals of all that is wrong with the world. This is the EXACT same mentality that has lead to North Korea's nuclear proliferation program...Clinton et al were scammed by a second rate 'dictator' (and just like AndyScam, easily detected by us here in the real world) because he was their ideal incarnation of the power that should be held by the 'elites'.
Heeheeheehee ain't life beautiful?
Too, too funny. In fact LMAO funny. I have got to learn how to do stuff like that.

261. Maybe everyone is a little right and a little wrong.
Sometimes when talking about things that we don't completely understand, we put it into our own words. Those words can sometimes drift into something that is not quite as accurate as we meant, but through no one's fault it has become confused and inaccurate.
I, myself don't always protect the accuracy of a statement just in my own interpretation of the statement. This has nothing to do with credibility, it is simply human nature that sometimes happens. Your trust in Andy is damaged and the only way to solve that is to level with him about everything you are concerned about, leave nothing out. You, Will, are a very perseptive person, you will KNOW.
You cannot let this go unchecked. There is no one here that questions your integrity, you have, all along, believed what you were being told because you trust another person. If there is a problem, BIG IF, it is not because of something you did wrong, we are not responsible for the wrongs of others.
You see... Everyone is probably a little right... and a little wrong! And sometimes we just don't quite understand and drift into something that may not have been as quite as accurate as we meant! Blah... Blah... Blah!!
Oh... You must mean like having EVERYONE IN YOURDUMBA$$ WORLD announcing that you HAVE been diagnosed with CANCER and WILL be undergoing surgery for it... SEND ME MONEY!!
Better go out and get some more cigarettes. There's much more to come!

I haven't posted about the Andy issue, but what about a "DU Crisis Fund"?
Edited on Tue May-17-05 03:33 PM by UdoKier
In the future, wouldn't it be better to have a general "DUer's help fund" for members in crisis, some sort of nonprofit fund that could be managed by someone who could verify the veracity of people asking for help?
I don't really know Andy Stephenson. He's apparently very popular, and that's terrific. I never jumped into the fundraising, not because I don't care about him, but because we are a large group, and to be honest, there are a LOT of people dealing with both severe health and financial problems. I need thousands of dollars worth of dental work that I CANNOT afford, and I'm teetering on the edge of financial ruin already. And I don't have a house to borrow against. (not that I'm comparing dental work to catastrophic illness)
Shouldn't catastrophic care like the tumor surgery he needed be covered by the hospital's indigent fund? I'm not sure how that works, but my wife went to the emergency room, got a huge bill, and the hospital paid for most of it from their indigent fund because we showed documentation that we couldn't afford it.
All I'm saying is that there are a LOT of us struggling. DUers helping DUers is a great idea. But making it all about one person is really a dangerous thing to do. People want to feel secure that their money was put to the best use. In Andy's case, I don't know any reason to think that it wasn't, but obviously some people have got some reservations.
So would a general DUers crisis fund that would give out a certain set maximum amount per person upon verification by a fund supervisor be a good idea to help solve this problem?
I'm just thinking out loud here. No axes to grind with anybody. Feel free to correct me if I'm factually wrong about anything.
