Wow! So that's the stuff that goes through liberals' heads.

Oh, the humanity! We're DOOMED. We're all gonna die! Fear! Hopelessness! AND IT'S ALL BUSH'S AND CHRISTIANS' FAULT!!!

Thanks for posting this. It was quite informative and amusing. They think the media is Bush-friendly? They're living in some otherworldly reality, I guess.

Their civilization is beginning to unravel. Ours is supplanting it.

"The question is, are they unbalanced because they are liberal, or are they liberal because they are unbalanced?"

""It's the classic 'Which came first, the chicken or the egg?' From my way of thinking, anybody who believes that Marxism is still the way to go after the abject failure of communism in the 20th Century has to be unbalanced.""

Because the theory of communism/socialism is intrinsicly flawed, is predicated upon fallacious logic, is formulated on hateful axioms, is contrary to Natural and Cosmic Laws, communism cannot be instituted without imposed totalitarian statism (absolute rule) - which is, in of itself, an ultimate failure for humanity.

I started lurking at DU on election night. One of the first surprises is that they adamently believe that the media is totally in the tank for George W and Republicans in general. I kid you not!

"they adamently believe that the media is totally in the tank for George W"

I've picked up on that too. Unbelievable. If the NY Times and Washington Post are in bed with the right, just what to they consider to be left? or moderate for that matter.

Doood! The energy is riiight! We are, fer sure, heading toward the great cosmic orgasm of the Mother Goddess, when all of the rich become common, the poor held high, the ignorant masses' eyes will be opened, and the stoopid flourish....we libs are gonna be frickin' brilliant when this happens!

***So many laughable lines, so little time...

Symptom of insanity: over-stressed and fluctuating aura.

"(so much for those evil fundy christians)"

What is this supposed to mean?

It is a popular canard among the Left that Conservativism is the product of Christian evengelicals and fundamentalists.

My early exposure to Conservativism was from right wing Jews, whom I considered crazy at the time, until I realized they were right.

The DUmp is a perfect example of what happens when you empty all the mental institutions onto the streets and supply them with a computer for their new group homes.

DUers generally have a viscerally negative reaction to anything even hinting at organized religion, although they claim to embrace "spirituality" and brag about their tolerance. They are very hard on Christian DUers who try to explain Christianity over there.

Excerpt of a posting dialogue between a normal person and an entitled member of the superior intellectual "liberal" literati:

Liberal: "I don't intend to read the article until I know it's not some right-wing nut bugaboo..."

[This "liberal" wants certification that the article is not right-wing "bugaboo"!]

Normal: "...your mind is so closed and cemented-in with leftist indoctrination, even dynamite couldn't open it.

Liberal: "...similar to the many such fraudulent [contradictory] pieces you've posted here in the past."

[Reminder: This "liberal" wants certification that the article is not right-wing "bugaboo"!]

Normal: "Are you actually reluctant (AFRAID) to read anything until you can verify it is not "rightwing bugaboo"??? What is "rightwing bugaboo"? Is it equal in absurdity to "leftwing bugaboo"?

Another testimony that the "liberal academic intellengensia" suffers from acute closed-mindedness.

Uh-oh. Sounds like they're onto The Plan. And you guys know what I mean. Do we have a leak in security? The camps aren't ready yet, but I did manage to get the latest DU database into the hands of (snicker!) Homeland Security. Man, if those guys on DU only knew...

(Please delete this post after reading. Wouldn't want to warn them...)

Nope, couldn't be, because at that time, they were consumed with keeping their buddy Clinton viable in the minds of the sheeple. Since the Toon lost, they've been in a state of mental meltdown.

I visit DU fairly frequently, and if you can avoid getting puke-sick at their disrespect for human life (abortion really IS a sacrament over there), you can find some fairly amusing banter over there. They think that John Q. Public is just as annoyed with the Republican Party as they are, and "something's gotta give", leading to revolution any day now.

I will confess, I do see the same thing over here every time some judge decides to pull a feeding tube or allows a homosexual couple to marry. The people in the middle don't pay ten cents worth of attention to politics until the weekend before an election, if then. Anybody who tries to storm the White House, or the Supreme Court, is gonna find that they've taken on a fruitless cause.

"There will be a revolt. A peasant's revolt."

What an ignorant, delusional twit!

America doesn't have "peasants" - a peasant class: "Poverty-stricken...having insufficient resources or income...lacking basic human needs..." Europe, India, and Asia as well as Third World countries have peasants. Mexico has a population of 65% peons (peasants) most of whom want to flee Mexico and forge U.S. borders.

What is "DU" anyway? An insane asylum?

I have an image of some nut with a tin pot on his head screaming "Charrrrrrrrge!" as he races toward the White House. The problem is, no one is filing in behind him.
