Was Schiavo already a nursing student before Terri took ill?
His supporters claim that he began studying nursing only after she took ill in order to help with her care.
The timeline is important here.

Agreed.
I do hope the whole story comes out, once and for all. Too much is in dispute. Someone as "tenacious" as Michael Schiavo has been would be just ads dogged in trying to get the facts out to clear his own name, no? Or is his sense of devotion only with respect to honoring his wife's wishes, not defending his own reputation? (Massive sarcasm in effect)

Michael was not a nursing student when Terri collapsed.
A 1991 bone scan, however, showed extensive traumatic injuries - with a neck injury that is consistent with strangulation.

This is just a theory. I'm not a medical professional, but some of you may be and could shed light on the plausibility of this scenario. I'm told that the enzymes typically associated with a heart attack were absent from Terri Schiavo's blood stream following her collapse. Would an injection of KCL to the heart leave such enzymes? What would the residue potassium in her blood stream be, given the quantity needed to stop the heart? Would an injection site that small be noticed by an EMS team, or emergency room doctors? Would there be records of injectable potassium chloride and syringes being removed from a hospital or nursing school?
If KCL is not diluted in a saline solution, say 50-100 cc, depending upon the amount of KCL, YES, it is potentially deadly if injected into one's bloodstream via a vein or artery. It is never to be given by direct injection because of this.
No, an injection of KCL will not alter the cardiac enzymes status. If you have a MI, or cardiac arreat, aka, heart attack, your cardiac enzymes will be elevated and your EKG will show abnormalities. If KCL had been injected, most definitely, the KCL level in the blood would be elevated. I do not think an injection of KCL would be noticed by the EMS squad. They would be too distracted in trying to save her life and getting a patient history. Unless foul play is suspected, no one would be looking for something like this, especially the paramedics.
KCL is not a controllable drug. It would be very easy for anyone in the medical profession to walk off with a vial and a syringe.

Don't you ever get tired of these lying libelous posts? Will it make you happy when one of these unbalanced nutballs shoots MS?
Can this circus get any MORE insane?
To: Scotswife
Yeah, suuure that is why there was no murder charge ever comptemplated by anyone and only the real nuts believe such crap.
What WON'T you believe?
To: eLibrarian
After the failed murder, Terri was in a nursing home, not a rehab center as Michael had swore he would provide in his phony malpractice suit. Five years ago he dumped her in Felos' hellhole "hospice."
It is ILLEGAL to admit someone to any hospice (including Felos' hospice) if they are going to live longer than 6 months. By federal law, Felos/Schiavo had to locate two "doctors" to give written certification that Terri would "with certainty" be dead within 6 months.
Of course this was all complete fraud. Terri was illegally placed in Felos' hospice five years ago. Given the stubborn tenacity with which she holds on to life, as well as the devotion of her true family, she could live another 40 years. And so Felos and Schiavo had to murder her.

yes I do. One questions that I haven't heard addressed is why insurance company paying out $300,000 to him for lack of consortium, doesn't request money returned. He certainly wasn't lacking any.

If FR had an ounce of decency left this thread would be pulled and the poster banned.
SCHIAVO Republic. What a joke.
I dare you all to add the 'let Terri go' percentages in the ongoing poll. You might see how many of us you are alienating.

Soon be over and FR will be a wreck of it's former self.
Only thing I hate more than leftists is Taliban fanatics. Moses started out his religious career as a fanatic, murdered an Egyptian, and got sent to the desert for 30 year's re-education.
Peter wanted our Lord to call fire down from heaven on some nay-sayers and Christ rebuked him.
Fanatics are not capable of spiritual truth. They just spew their hatred and violence everywhere they go. No good to anybody but our true enemies.

You would have to ask them but note the IMPORTANT point- the police did NOTHING to imply any foulplay. Why? Were they already part of this worldwide conspiracy to "murder Terri"? OR was it because there was no criminal activity? Gee why don't we poll the Jerry Springer rejects thronging the hopice, I wonder what they will say?
To: newfrpr04
Obviously the company has no grounds for taking than step.
To: justshutupandtakeit
OR was it because there was no criminal activity?
I don't know how many times you've called the paramedics, but they never are accompanied by police unless there is criminal activity, or a suspicion thereof.
The IMPORTANT point is that the medical professionals that first came into contact with Terri Schiavo and saw her condition did not believe her situation to be the product of "natural" causes - or Bolemia - but rather something illegal.
Why didn't the cops do anything? I don't know, but I doubt that the paramedics had itchy "trigger-fingers" and wanted to call the police as part of a routine procedure.

The tests showed her situation was because of electrolyte imbalance. Now I am supposed to believe MS can induce a HEART ATTACK? Does he use special super hypno-power to do that? Since she collapsed has it not occurred to you that she may have injured herself in the fall? Or does this obsession with slandering MS override reason and decency?
This insanity is growing by the day and we are seeing conservatives throw over ALL principle.
To: justshutupandtakeit
The tests showed her situation was because of electrolyte imbalance.
Which happens all the time in perfectly healthy women in their late 20s/early 30s... /sarcasm
Fact of the matter is that the medical accounts of her death are just as improbable as Michael participating in the act.
