You admit there's uncertainty about her prognosis and still you want her killed?

Wow.

Want her 'killed'? No, I did not say that. it's just time for Mom and Dad to let go. As I said, if I were in the persistent vegetative state like that, I'd want to be 'let go'.

As for the doctors, I tend to not believe either Michael's or the ones her parents brought in, as they tend to tell their paymasters what they want to believe. The ones from the county say she is never going to get better, and for that reason, she should be allowed to slip peacefully from this life into the next.

Such language is not that of the culture of death, nor is it a perpetuation of Jack Kevorkian, who was nothing more than a perpetual serial killer.

My wife once again has this to add:

"Fine. Storm the place. Send her home with her parents to an undisclosed location where they can take care of her with all their love.

What happens to Terri when HER parents pass away?

Oh, just starve her to death then! See how easy it is?

Given the publicity regarding this case, if a call went out for donations to a fund to care for Terri provided her life were spared, what do YOU think would happen?

It still boils down to getting guardianship taken away from Michael and reassigned to either her parents or a third party OTHER than the state that does not have a conflict-of-interest.

I stand by my comments. They are my feelings about the tone this individual took regarding the parents of a woman who is being killed. His comments regarding the entire thing being Terri's fault (he has no way of knowing that, there is sworn testimony on both sides of that issue) and regarding the condition of her brain just add to this. He comes off as extremely arrogant and judgemental. There are medical experts lined up on both sides of this issue, both saying different things about her condition. It is apparent that there is doubt. When in doubt, you simply err on the side of life.

I have children who are the age she was when this occurred. I have great compassion and sympathy for the parents. Michael's behavior for the last many years has been anything but faithful to Terri. He has conflicted himself and it is clear to the most casual and objective observer.

I have nothing more to say regarding a person who would so cavelierly and callously treat the parents of a woman, and the woman herself, who is being killed in this manner. Thanks for the ping.

That judge is a bastard. Was he appointed or elected to the bench? I wonder if the family does file a lawsuit if he will be named.

And you're uninformed and unenlightened

No, he understands the euphemisms used by those who are hoping for Euthanasia World.

Terri is not slipping away by any means. She is suffering an agony the likes of which you and I will probably never know.

Hopefully God will forgive you and those like you who are blind to her suffering. I personally will struggle with it for a long time.

I work in the medical field and I see people die. I cannot think of another way of being killed which I would find to be as cruel and filled with suffering, as that of forced dehydration.

You are the one who is uninformed, and extremely unenlightened. You are also very sad, imo, because of your need to victimize Terri even as she is dying a horrific death in agony.
