Thank you for providing that link. This proves that they're not just denying "life support" but that they are clearly starving this mentally impaired woman to death on purpose and with full intent to do so.

All Judge Greer ever ordered, so far as I can determine, was to authorize the guardian to withdraw the feeding tube. Period.

Then you need to take a look at the court document in post 26. Greer EXPRESSLY and in no uncertain terms forbade giving Terri any food or water BY MOUTH. Don't believe me? Check the court document, with his signature. It doesn't get any more black-and-white than that.

EPP: No, the wording I have seen doesn't even mention "feeding tube", but denies all food and water.

Here is the February 2000 order of the court:

... it is: ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Petition for Authorization to Discontinue Artificial Life Support of Michael Schiavo, Guardian of the Person of Theresa Marie Schiavo, an incapacitated person, be and the same is hereby GRANTED and Petitioner/Guardian is hereby authorized to proceed with the discontinuance of said artificial life support for Theresa Marie Schiavo.

To my knowledge, that's the extent of it.

Judge Greer has not simply ordered this woman to be denied artificial means of support, but also natural means of support. Her parents are strip searched when they go into visit her, lest they give her a drop of water and prolong her life for a second.
