With jokes like that, you should write scripts for television. :)

Do think that Ellen Degenerate will hire me?

"It's a bit hard to follow when the characters change the spelling of their names midstream, isn't it?

I'd expect the religious leaders in the media of 2030 to be less Oral Roberts, more oral "relations."

picky, picky, but good point.

If you think that making light of a perverted, deviant lifestyle(there I said it, I guess I am intelorent), in such a way ,that kids will accept it as normal, is :funny".... You probably think that southpark is good for kids, too, and that it shows high moral values.

You listed the article under "humor" not me.

And that was my point, it wasn't funny.

Satire, and educational value?

If only it exhibited either one...

This is where the liberals in our schools, medical profession, Hollywood, and democratic party is taking the minds and hearts of our children: This isn't funny either:

The ratings system was developed informally by the adult entertainment industry and has become an integral part of how pornographic movies are edited for specific audiences.

Single-X-rated movies feature nudity, long-range or panoramic and medium-range camera shots, simulated sex and sex between women. Double-X-rated movies show intercourse, oral sex and close-up shots. Triple-X-rated movies feature anal sex and visible ejaculation.

Cable executives said Adelphia's decision to air hard-core porn was unlikely to scare bidders in the current auction. Some predicted that if Adelphia subscribers flock to the new triple-X programs, other cable operators could follow.

Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Adelphia joins a marketplace already teeming with ways to procure hard-core sexual content.

"It's scary how much money is made on porn," said Tim Connelly, editor and publisher of Adult Video News, an industry trade magazine that estimates that when strip clubs, magazines, the Internet, TV and DVDs are included, porn is a $10-billion industry. "That's more than Hollywood makes at the box office. And it just grows and grows and grows. It's mainstream now." http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-adelphia2feb02,0,7840216.story?coll=la-home-headlines

You are so right, this is NOT funny. The point is that what passes for comedy {Ms. Goldberg}is not funny either.

This is where the liberals in our schools, medical profession, Hollywood, and democratic party have already taken you and everyone else in the country. This is what they are feeding to the minds and hearts of our children:

" "I'm at a loss to understand the reason you posted it."

Satire, and educational value? Of course I don't expect liberals, communists, teachers, and democrats to understand it."

Ok I'm really confused now. You self identified this piece as satire. I remember enough of my English classes to know that satire is supposed to have humor. Then you agreed, in a very angry way, that neither the piece nor the subject was funny.

Okay, it is neither funny nor satire. Poor choice of words. I apologize appearing angry. It was probably more frustration with the responses that ignored the content. Except the one that said it made him "dumber". Personally, I thought that a guy dressing up as a girl, being on NPR, and no one but the conservative guest thought it was bizarre? Well, I thought of it as dark humor? I stand corrected.

Ok there was a little humor in it, but if you're going to write satire you've got to make it funny or no one will get it.
It got off to a promisingly weird start however. Good luck on your next one.

Actually the talk show portion was not supposed to be funny, but a dialog on how the 1st amendment has been misconstrued by liberal justices. That's about all.
