Liberals fundamental premise is that society (the nation) is primary and individuals are secondary.

They do not believe in "individual rights".

Their perspective, by the way, has been shared by every dictator and authoritarian regime in the history of man.

So the basic premise you need to remember is "you own your life, they don't".

It's pointless to debate these people. Their hatred for George Bush completely consumes every dimension of their lives. At the core is a charred cinder of HATE. Let 'em wallow in 4 more years (at least) of misery.

I haven't read Virtue, but I think it just her basic philosophy boiled down for easier reading. The characters in Atlas Shrugged represent the different levels of those who live by (or don't live by) her philosophy...JFK

You cannot debate these people. I checked out their site, these have to be the same people from DUmmie land. It's not that you cannot win the debate, it's just as soon as you start winning they start insulting. In fact the more hateful and vulgar the insults the better your debate.

If you have already waded your way through Atlas Shrugged (twice!) then you shouldn't be having any trouble debating the libs. :-)

I had presumed you hadn't read Rand and was trying to save you a thousand pages of reading. ;-)
