Tucker is hardly conservative. He is a moderate at best.
BTW..Where'd the staff of CnnFn go? The unemployment line?
Your aware that Carlson refuses to admit he voted for Bush and has more then hinted that he voted for Kerry right? He also predicted a Kerry victory and in an esquire article he wrote, pretty much made a subtle endorsement for Kerry over Bush.
Never trust a man (or a woman) that wears a bow tie. Tucker Carlson is the liberals idea of what a conservative should be. He is safe and not too confrontational.
yes I know he thought Kerry would win but that is just a prediction, not an endorsement and I've read all the articles and he is NOT a Kerry fan.......but he thought the Dems had more momentum......kind of like you rooting for your home team but thinking they will lose the game. That doesn't mean you are for the other team but you are just trying to be objective about the results......in fact, I almost applaud him cause every Dem thought Kerry would win and all of us thought Bush would win.....it is always the same......I'm just not against Tucker as much as some of the others are on here from past readings. I just think that as awful and shi**y all the liberals are on TV, some of the conservatives are almost as bad. Like Sean Hannity, I actually agree with 90% of his arguements but he is just as rude and interuptive as Chrissy and is a total passive aggressive personality......i just think sometimes we should let some of the mods be on our side cause they are closer to us than the liberal idiots
He may not be a kerry supporter, but considering the fact that he's the token conservative at CNN, is it to much to ask, for him to say he either was going to, or did vote for Bush?
He still won't say it, and he still keeps hinting that he voted for Kerry which is what infuriates me the most.
Where is Joe Scarborough? haven't seen him since 11-2
You are correct to comment about hosts who interrupt and
talk across their guests. But this is what I refer to as the "cable disease." There is a total lack of civil and
polite discourse - yes Hannity does it but the worst is
Matthews who stridently babbles and gives Dem talking points in his speeches that are supposed to be questions.
I only occasionally view him for a few minutes so that I
won't forget how bad he is. But look at his abysmal ratings. If he goes any lower he'll be down there with
that blowhard and windbag Keith Olbermann.
"There is a total lack of civil and
polite discourse - yes Hannity does it but the worst is
Matthews"
So true. Matthews seems out to prove just how fast he can talk (and interrupt).
There's no pleasure in watching something like that (or in the many other interrupting talking-heads).
To PBS, Daschle was a Reagan-Republican... LOL
Seriously though, Tucker won't do anything for MSNBC. He folds under pressure, and has a hard time articulating his points. Not much there, IMO. I will be keeping it on Fox at my house.
I absolutely agree with you about Tucker. I think he has flip-flopped on Iraq, but so had O'Reilly. He is more conservative than O'Reilly.
I'll give his show a chance. Who knows? It could be really good.
