My biggest problem navigating on DU is I draw a total blank on a lot of the names they drop (commie authors, radio show hosts, etc.) Someone accused me of being a right-wing Nazi once because he said nobody else would refer to whatever it was by the term I used. Whoops, almost caught in the act. But when they start referring to people by their initials, I'm really up the creek. It took me a whole afternoon to figure out who "DK" is - the evil little elf himself, Dennis Kucinich!

I was VERY depressed to see that Hillary! was way WAY down the list of their favorites for '08. The reason - men will never vote for a woman in time of war (like they would all be lining up to vote Shrillary otherwise.)

He (Kucinich)also had the advantage of appealing to people outside the party and of pulling them together into a coalition that would eventually support the nominee. He kept getting endorsed by people who were not eligible to vote for him in the primaries.

Kucinich did appeal to people outside the Dimocrat party: Chirac, Castro, Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong Mentally Il etc.

That part about Jessie Jackson was hilarious. I seem to remember he used to have a Reverend in front of his name. Now he is on the outs with the religious community.
