Even the DUmmies know the mention of Mary Cheney was meant as an attack

They are scared now. They know Kerry blew it when he mentioned her. I sense the hideous hand of the Clintoons.

Sadly the Dems seemed to think that opening the issue about Mary Cheney would keep the Republican Base home. If anything it should energize it because what's the alternative? A President who would sell out this country in a heartbeat?

And about 250,000 women were revolted by that attack on family members and kerry's other weird remarks.. Especially the 'marrying up' stuff.

"mention of Mary Cheney was meant as an attack"
and justify its intention;
mistaken in its effects; fundamentalists let pro-abortion Kerry win because of the v.p.'s daughter?? come on.

It always surprises me...how much caustic bile comes from the party of tolerance. I personally love DU, its great comic relief. Boortz said it earlier today, had the situation been reversed and Cheney had made reference to one of Kerry's daughters the media would be pounding it to a bloody pulp. However, these people can lower themselves just enough to get their guy elected, the sewage smell would come off after they got done gloating. Utterly despicable......

HEY DU'er's..... Your party just fired us UP! Early voting starts here on Monday... I can assure you that WE WILL be out in FULL FORCE!

I've been to DU a few times, but not really up on their lingo. Why do they use the * for Bush? anyone know the what it means? Can they just not bear to say his name?

Seriously, did anybody not vote for President Reagan simply because of Ron Jr. or Patti? Why would Mary Cheney make any difference then?

Looks like the Kerry-Edwards campaign is in synch with their base. Both think it's perfectly OK AND good strategery to cynically use a candidates daughter in this manner.
They are horribly wrong on both counts. Don't worry, these people will get what they deserve.

ten thousand fundamentalist Christians are swayed to stay home instead of casting their vote on Election Day informed fundamentalist Christian voters like myself have known for years that Mary Cheney was gay. She's a adult, she makes her own choices and she has to face her maker for the ultimate choice, and that's not the gay lifestyle.
DU'ers counting on this keeping our troops away is laughable.
Fundamentalist Christians would belly crawl naked(like Kerry hunts) on broken glass over burning coals to vote for the President that passed partial birth abortion and wants to kill those who want to kill us.

The Rat party has lost all sense of decency. They are now controled by a bunch of 60's radicals and leftists who seek power by any means necessary. If they win, it validates their methods and they will become more extreme. If they lose, I expect that many will think they did not go far enough and will also become more extreme.

They're morons. And they don't understand conservatives at all.
Message to DU: Mary Cheney is not an inhibiting factor in our determination to defeat your phony war hero; in fact, the Cheneys' reaction to your provocation only deepens our admiration for the Vice President and his wife. With effort, patience, and a bit of help from Providence, Kerry will be defeated.
Regards, Ivan
