We will never hear the answer UNLESS we never let up. Ergo it will die a natural death at some point just like Sandy Berger the rest of the lies/crimes committed by leftists. If we didn't have a "Two-Party Cartel" we would have a government that would close in on this thru campaign violations, federal crimes or maybe for FCC rules being broken. So where are they? The message is clear - be a liberal/commie/liar/POS & nothing ever happens. End of Story.

Just think what this means if it is true that the documents were provided by moveon.org. CBS and Rather are on record stating that the documents were from very reliable sources. Moveon.org is their idea of very reliable sources?

I just don't think that this memo came out of the Kerry campaign--or even the DNC, although that is more plausible than the Kerry camp. It's just too risky. The name of the game in politics is plausible deniability. But I DO think it's very possible that someone with close connections to MoveOn.org could easily have done this. It's a shadowy organization with known and unknown players. I think what this staffer says--that 527s are run by emotions and not a knowledge of campaigns--sounds right on. While I'm sure that there are some elements of MO with campaign experience, there's also a lot of shadowy players that are throwing mud to see what sticks. The Clinton ties to MO are very interesting... I'm not sure what to make of that yet.

Again, the source said they have no idea if moveon.org was the source, but rather, that is the current belief at the Kerry campaign.

Another case of reverse extortion.

The DNC/KerryKamp has already told CBS
"we dare you to sink Kerry
by trying to pin this on us".

Now the DNCK appears to be telling sorosmoney.org
"we want you to take the blame,
and we dare you to sink Kerry
by trying to fight back"

There is also a warning here to Freeper-ville to make double darn sure that what we do and who we align with are on the up and up.

The Swifties come to mind. We were justifiably cautious until we saw their cards, read the book, and knew what they were up to.

I think we should pay close attention to this forgery issue at cBS and note how badly things can go if we make a mistake ... your candidate gets it in the a..

Emotions are not your friend. Truth is.

"Our source also expressed deep frustration at what she called the “hijacking of our campaign and our party by the amateurs at MoveOn.org.”

They didn't seem to mind when this mob's dirty tricks were working to their advantage.

Can there be any doubt that there has been coordination between the MoveOn thugs and the DNC/sKerry Campaign?

With close association with nuts like George Soros and Michael Moore, whose success has made them think they're far smarter than they are, it stands to reason that they, too, would get carried away with themselves and show just how warped they are.

"The problem was we had one set of documents from Bush's file that had Killian calling Bush 'an exceptionally fine young officer and pilot.' And someone who Killian said 'performed in an outstanding manner.' Then you have these new documents and the tone and content are so different." The CBS producer said that some alarms bells went off last week when the signatures and initials of Killian on the documents in hand did not match up with other documents available on the public record, but producers chose to move ahead with the story. "This was too hot not to push. If there were doubts, those people didn't show it," says the producer, who works on a rival CBS News program.

WOW!!!
Now that's what I call a bombshell amd another shovelful of dirt on Rather's coffin.

Actually if you read the last page, the source does acknowledge how much they've helped, but laments that they don't know when to quit.

Thanks. If that happens we'll know we've been burnt. We put the info out there from the source, and if we did get burned, everyone will know it and we'll admit it. Unlike Dan Rather.

To: Libertarianize the GOP
Soros financed campaign finance reform so that government could control what opinions are allowed to be heard before an election. If he duped 60 minutes it would be to give government an excuse to control what the media can say about candidates for office

You hit the nail on the head!
Soros is a communist con man who knows how to dupe the masses very well. I find it amazing that the media treats this guy like he's a freedom loving libertarian. He is the exact opposite of what he claims to be.

I don't think it was Soros...mainly because he could have hired a more professional forger.

Not if the goal was to discredit the media.

I agree with your assessment of Soros. But isn't MO larger than just Soros? Aren't there more 527s than MO.org? It seems to me that there a lot of shadowy, emotional people who would be willing to do whatever it took to get Kerry in office. Soros is more careful than this, but isn't there a lot of other operatives out there assocated with 527s who are fanatically willing to pull something like this?

I noted the connection between the guy who is heading Texans for Truth, the Democrat 527 and MoveOn.Org. The timing of the document release and the Texans For Truth ads was all to suspicious, especially when it was revealed the the head of the group was a former leading member of MoveOn.

Awesome.

You tie this back to Moveon, and it gives the President the go ahead to jump all over this in public. He can say, with righteous indignation, that this "wayward 527 group with ties to the Kerry campaign tried to defame and attack me, which is why I again call on John Kerry to join John McCain and me in putting a stop to all of these groups."

This turns the focus squarely on Kerry, who won't lift a finger to admonish a group and a person (Soros) who has worked hard to be a Kerry stalking horse all throughout the campaign.

"No way. While I can believe that moveon.org was part of the process, this was a Kerry campaign/DNC deal."

The Kerry campaign wants to deflect blame away from themselves.
