I found a job I love and attempted making a career at it. The two parties then pulled the rug out from under me with trade policy. Nice lower middle class income doing what I love.. gave me the chance to rebuild my life and buy a house. Right now I'm cleaning and packing to leave my American dream behind. So long and thanks for all the fish poop more or less. I've heard all the up yours and tough love speaches. I pulled myself up by the bootstraps and got a break on this job. Doesn't matter, As I've noted before, there is no amount of hard work that can't be undone and wrecked by our politicians and greedy jerks in my own party. Save the fairy tales for someone else.

No fairy tales here. I have been in the oil patch for 25 years. I have had the rug pulled out from under me while everyone danced with joy at cheap gasoline four times in that time period. Once, I ended up homeless, twice, it cost a marriage. The only sure thing is change. That does not make it easy, but it does make me careful. I don't owe the bank one thin dime more than I have to. I drive old vehicles I can work on, not the latest SUV., I don't wear the latest fashions, and if my computer were not a revenue source, I probably wouldn't be typing this here.

There will always be greedy jerks, and unfortunately, politicians. I am sorry you are losing what you have worked for, I have been homeless, I have been there. God Bless, man, good luck with your future. You have more control than you know.
