Fanatacism, of any religion, political belief, or ideology must ALWAYS be watched with caution...it can excuse the worst actions men can do to one another. Witness the Inquisition, for example, or the Burning of Joan Of Arc.

That you fear the influence of "fundamentalists" is part and parcel to your post. I don't mean cowardice, I simply mean what would be healthy fear, if it were justified.

It is good that you make a distinction between one who believes in the fundamentals of Christianity and one who perverts and manipulates, though; thank you.
