Hah! Doubt we have much to worry about when it comes to LESS debate on FR. LOL
By the way, looks like Darth Sideous of the LibertyPost forum is looking to give Registered a little competition.
Love this promo:

Is "Edgar Hall" anyone we know?Well, here's how my mind worked (as far as it goes) on that question:
1. 'Free Republic Sucks' is a site dreamed up by a scumbag Democrat named Edgar Hall.
2. Scumbag Democrats are Maoists, Marxists, socialists,.... communists.
3. The Communist Party USA was headed by a goofball named Gus Hall.
4. Therefore, Edgar Hall is the son of Gus Hall.
Please keep in mind that this entire chain of rambling thought transpired in less than one second and may make no sense at all.
Thank you.

I like the one Registered did for us better. ;)

Are you sure less debate is the best road to a free republic? Debate is not the same as nutcases who want to disrupt. It's like hecklers at a debate. They are like psychotic children or people who just want to destroy. It is completely different from honest debate.

So much Leftist hate, so little time. I love it when the Leftys go bananas. It means were on the RIGHT track. Hehehehe.

Heyyyyy...How come an anti-freep site like that moron has gets publicity on freep but a pro freep one like mine gets yanked? A site like mine that promotes freerep, that even got a few hundred people to join freerep who never even heard of it? I tried twice, once last year and a few months ago and I got the official "this thread has been pulled" message...I get 13k visits a month, it`s not like I`m going to overtake freep!I`m on your side OK? If you want to see what site I run check my name. I don`t want this message yanked.

I think there's a good kernel or two of truth in the criticims leveled against Free Republic. This doesn't detract from its accomplishments. But it does seem to me that it's a good idea to go easy on the banning/suspending of posts that rub the wrong way.

Debate at the Bhuddist Temple
To: Jim Robinson
Free Republic is an online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America. And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!
But please do not question the current administration.

Depends on what you call honest. If you honestly prefer Gore or Hillary over Bush, then I sincerely doubt your sanity.

Lately when I read FR, I think of the lock step Dems that marched from the capital to the Whitehouse after impeachment. I can handle other points of view. I would encourage it.
