This is a hard hearted viewpoint. Being raped or molested when a young child is an emotional trauma that often has lifelong negative effects. I disagree with you often but this takes the cake. You are callously minimizing the horror of child molesting. It is sickening.
The fact that people can "pick up the pieces and move on in life." is hard hearted and sickening to you?
Then I guess you agree with the quote I was responding to about these lives being "destroyed" by sexual predators....and you can help them nuture the lamentations over the awful negative emotional effects..so they can get the maximum suffering they can out of the experience.

I was molested several times beginning at the age of 5. And I know others who were also molested as children.
I thank God that we didn't get stuck with a 'feel sorry for yourself' counselor like you to teach us how to make a bad experience in a life-long career of horror and emotional damage.
Some of us learn to grow up and over-come things like this. Sorry that 'sickens' you.

However I do suspect that some of those sites that promise under-age movies and photos are probably lying...and heterosexual sites do the same thing....to attract desperate old geezers.

Among homosexual activists themselves, a heated debate rages over whether the homosexual community should include among their ranks homosexuals who have sex with the young.
If sex with minors is such an accepted and integral part of homosexuality as you claim ....why is there this 'heated debate'?

Basically what you are saying is that no matter what evidence polycarp (or anyone else) puts up here you will deny it. You will call any evidence that anyone posts that you disagree with "propaganda" etc. You believe that scorn, derision and sloganeering are effective debating tools. It is as though you are living in an alternate reality. Reminds me of a weird guy I knew when I was a druggie in Madison, Wis. in the late '60's - he was strung out on belladonna and lived in a complete other world (that didn't exist!).

I've posted a statement from GLAAD..the #1 homo organization in America...that clearly and emphatically opposes NAMBLA including their goals to lower the age of consent.
Polycarp has yet to provide any evidence of any major gay organization coming out in support of sex with minors. In fact Polycarp cannot support anything he posts. Big surprise.
Is it not true that those who are molested by members of the same sex as youth are also just as likely to inflict physical violence on homos (gay bashing, if you will) when they become adults.
Is it not true that a large percentage of the adult male prison population were molested as children? Is it not true that this is one of the main reasons that homos and effeminate men are victims of rape and assault in prison?
Polycarp seems to be saying that if one is molested as a child it is a one way ticket to homosexuality.
I read a lot and I am very concerned about the slouching towards Gomorrah that we are witnessing. I do not remember details as I am not a machine, and I am not a computer wizard to have links at my fingertips. But even if I did - like polycarp - you would still deny. Now you remind me of the Unman in the 2nd book of C.S. Lewis' trilogy starting with "Out of the Silent Planet" - the horrid Unman who wouldn't die and kept psychotically and viciously repeating the same obscenities over and over again. So I wil do the same thing that Ransom did - ignore you!

It's not a one-way ticket, and I think you know he isn't saying that. It's one of the significators, along with being fatherless, or other factors that are unfortunately becoming more and more common. Being exposed to sexually charged TV, movies and so on at an earlier and earlier age is also sexualizing children earlier, and if that content is homosexual, then often that pushes kids into same sex behavior.
