Ah, the sound of silence when it comes to the question "What is constitutional?"

Is the EPA constitutional?

Is the Department of Education constitutional?

Is the ATF constitutional?

What unenumerated rights do you think you have?

In for a penny, in for a pound it seems. There is no part of what the FedGOv does that you find outside of constitutionality, is there?

You resigned the discussion when you refused to answer my #47

Take me off your ping list; we're done.

If pot were made legal, Libertarians would forget all this other stuff.

Regarding your #47, I'll spell it out for you: The reason you would be ready to implement an order to drug a kid forcibly is that you have no discernable objection to any other form of government overreaching.

And that, of course, was just confirmed again by you and your fellow travelers:

No response to whether the EPA in constitutional.

No response to whether the ATF is constitutional.

No response to whether the Department of Education is constitutional.

No response to whether you have any unenumerated rights or what those rights might be.

What a fine bunch of "conservatives."

>>>...How about some straight answers from you?

The streight unvarnished truth about Libertarians is:

They lay on the BS just like Liberals. Liberal's one issue is abortion, Libertarian's issue is pot.

Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

Explore this- I've never said it was wrong. You're seeking an argument where there is none. Move along, william.

But your posts on this thread indicate you are in agreement with using the force of government to keep people from smoking cannabis by punishing them when they do. Are you saying that you are, in fact, in support of removing cannabis from the federal scheduling system?

Still no answers?

Is the EPA constitutional?

Is the ATF constitutional?

Is the Dept. of Ed. constitutional?

Do you have any unenumerated rights and what are they?

No answers at all. Nada. Zip. And, by the way, I would be perfectly happy if all these issues were brought back into line with the Founders' intent before pot or anything else ingestable was legalized, since more of my money is wasted on these unconstitutional departments and programs.

I'm a registered Republican, and have been all my life. I am typical of Republicans under 50. Face it. A lot of Republicans are very unhappy with where the government is going (duh, this is FR, after all). And people who cannot articulate even one single point where the goverment has gone too far are no kind of Republican at all.

But your posts on this thread indicate you are in agreement with using blah blah blah blah blather blather blather...

william, if you really feel the need for weed, you have my blessing. Toke up. As far as removing grass from the federal scheduling system... I'm still undecided. Though you and barbara are not making any headway.

I have to go now. Some of us have to work for a living.

Others can sit around and take "medication".

Libertarian's issue is pot.

Complete BS. Libertarians are also for open borders, bringing our troops home, repealing the federal income tax, and a host of other issues. That you think the Libertarians are all about pot is more a comment about you than a comment about Libertarians.

And no, I'm not a Libertarian.

Though you and barbara are not making any headway.

They're in good company. Despite Nixon's own commission on marijuana recommending decriminalization, and the fed's own judge agreeing that marijuana should be rescheduled in the late 1980s, the DEA ignored them in flagrant violation of the scheduling rules established by the CSA.

There is no such thing as being undecided; choices are unavoidable. Being undecided is to take the default situation at large and add your consent to it. Sorry to bring up brutal reality.

Thank you, but I haven't tried to "make headway"; I've merely tried to see where you stand on the matter.

It's easy to make headway at a game of "spot the narc."

No Drug Warrior will EVER take the food out of another bureaucrat's mouth. No pork is too fat. No federal overreaching can be criticized.

No Drug Warrior will EVER say any activity of any level of government is unconstitutional. That kind of thinking is just not permitted.

No Drug Warrior will EVER suggest that citizens have unenumerated rights. Rights are what is left over after they have the tools to do their jobs.

These Drug Warriors fit this profile perfectly.

So what should you do when you find a Drug Warrior? Give them a civics lesson:

If they have a puddle in their backyard, sic the enviro hounds on them.

If their kid hangs with the wrong crowd at school, dime them out. Odds are at lest one buddy has a roach on him, and, if not, who knows what might fall out of a cop's pocket. Nothing like a drug warrior bailing out his own kid.

If there are guns in the house, rat him out to CPS. Cops have an almost 100% divorce rate, high deliquency rates among their kids, and high alcoholism rates - way above their income cohort. 90% chance CPS will find grounds for intervention.

These are the kinds of experiences even a Drug Warrior might find intrusive. Learning can be fun.

>>>..., I'm not a Libertarian.

I could tell that when you listed all the things you think are important to Libertarians.

That is all the smoke and mirrors. Democrats also say they have more than one issue.

I'm afraid my vows to the Golden Rule keep me out of the action, though I'm not above being entertained by watching natural spiritual law reward them for their hatred of their fellow man.

I've noticed that "Live by the sword, die by the sword" is about more than just swords.
