"I'm talking about a community of North America, an integrated agreement of Canada, the United States, and Mexico in the long term, 20, 30, 40 years from now.

I don't want to see ANY Bush-Bots on this thread criticisin Fox for saying what Bush is planning on doing. Furthermore, the Bush family already has a "family Mexican" to run for the office of president of this new nation,George "The Mexican" Bush. Jeb's son,and Bubba-2's nephew. He is already being groomed to take over the political part of the family business.Anybody who can't see and understand this is blinder than Ray Charles.

I see Mexico as a much bigger threat than some arab nutcases.

True, but don't tell Bubba Bush this. He has his little heart set on going to war with Iraq, while the useless SOB leaves our borders undefended. Most people on FR seem to think he is the second coming of Christ, but he is FAR more dangerous to America than Bubba-1 ever was. He should be impeached, not applauded.

This will end up in the back room...

And it did. As our leaders and the media run around with their hands in the air all concerned about comments made at a birthday party......

The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:

Impeach Bush! Pass it on.

Mexico is systematically trying to cultivate dual loyalties, i.e. disloyalty, among its ethnic compatriots in America. This is a naked expansion of Mexico’s national interest at the expense of ours; the mystery is why we are tolerating it.

There is no mystery about it. The Bush family wants Jeb's son as president of Mexico,Canada, and the US,and they want the Mexican oil contracts to go to Bush family members. It's all about what is good for the Bush family, and to hell with the country.

I would say illegal aliens are 13 million with half being Mexican and another 15% from Central America.

There are a LOT of Hondurans in the US,and the ones here are steadily sending money to their relatives to come.

"More like we are taking over Mexico letting them think they're taking over us....(Ivy league types will still run things)."

Not from around here - are you.

And he then works against that very end by having free trade with the slave labor in China

Well,Uncle Prescott Bush needs to make a little money, too. I think it's pretty safe to assume he ain't living in China and partnering with the fascists that own that country because he likes the night life there.

"Pres. Bush gave one of his Saturday Radio addresses in Spanish this year."

Say it ain't so.

It's not only "so",it's worse than that. He gave a campaign speech in Spanish when he was running for president, and the RINO's in the RNC spent money to teach Spanish to the elites that run the RNC. They have been recommending all state officials learn Spansish, too.

It's all about what is good for the Bush family, and to hell with the country.

I am inclined to believe this because he didn't close the borders after September 11, and because of his constant pandering to Mexico in spite of what most Americans want.

If anyone thinks that Mexicans are eyeing just what constitutes territory we won from them, then you are seriously mistaken. They think anything west of the Mississippi or remotely close to Coronado or de Soto expedition paths are fair game too.

We should tell Mexico that before we agree to their terms, they should agree to a few of ours, most of which should involved getting their act together economically and politically, and also changing their form of govt to constitutional republic. Or we just could annex them and make it official.

I wonder how many on FR, come the next election, will not vote for El Jorge?

I voted for him last time, and have been sorry ever since. I damn sure won't vote for him next time,no matter how much the "party animals" scream about "the lesser of two evils". I don't give a damn if his opponet is Bubbette!,he ain't getting MY vote.

Just wait until he signs more gun law bills. The so-called Assault Weapons Ban sunsets just before the 2004 elections, and Bubba-2 said before the last election that he would sign the bill to make it permanent if Congress passed it and sent it to him. The way he loves to pander, you KNOW he is going to push the so-called Republican leadership to arrange enough RINO votes to make damn sure it passes. He's going to do this to pander to the "soccer mom" and "big city Dim vote" I think that will be the "one bridge too far" move that kills his re-election bid, just like it did for that worthless SOB he calls "Poppy". Despite his Texas twang,Bubba-2 IS a elitist northeaster at heart. The only reason he even bothers to call himself a Republican is because that's the team his family plays for and profits from.

Very well said. I routinely ask Konservatives who always scream about the need for compromise and "the lesser of two evils" - when does the compromise game no longer work? What does Bush have to do, I ask, for you to realize he has no principle, showing that your support for him will be the destruction of liberty? If the 1 billion dollar grant to HUD doesn't bother you, if the TIPS program sounds good, if bailing out the airlines, if campaign finance reform doesn't make you sick, what does? On what issues are you NOT willing to compromise, if any? What would you do if Bush were to extend the Assault Weapons Ban, or give it more teeth?

The silence that follows this challenging question is deafening.........That is because, for many Konservatives, when it comes to the 2nd amendment, they know they're getting screwed. I'll be on the edge of my seat to see what Dubya does with this, just before the election no less.
