You have never answered my questions about the methodology used in the Finnish study.

There IS no Finnish study that we are talking about. You referred to an AMERICAN study that you called Finnish.

I asked you these and other valid and reasonable questions about this study before you asked me anything, and you still refuse to answer and dodge the questions by asking me more questions.

Are you high?

It would be helpful to you to throw out all references to those Chinese studies altogether, unless the same studies have been replicated in the United States.

You still have not cited the supposed Chinese study in question. There is a few, but I don't see where in this thread I have referred to ANY.

The reason I ask if you are an American or not, is because you sure as hell don't seem to care if Americans eat, drink, and breath POISON.

Are you going to answer the questions I asked about the study that was conducted on Finnish people or not? If you're not, then just tell me you're not.

Why don't you post a link so that we are on the same page at least?

Since you're trying to convince me of something and I'm not trying to convince you of anything, the burden of proof is totally on you, not me. Until I get those questions answered, you won't hear any more from me.

Good night, and remember to brush and floss well.

You know the study I'm referring to, because you corrected me on it. It's the study conducted on Finnish people, and if you say it's American, then I believe you. Since you know the study, don't call me a liar.

Cut out all the sugar crap and lose the requirement for fluoride.

Unfortunately, that's a little difficult for most, since it's not just "crap" that has sugar. The sugars in the major "summer" fruits outpace many candies, and can cause the same tooth decay. Frankly, I'd rather brush with fluoride than give up a nice juicy peach.

Fluoride is one of the most abundant elements in the earth's crust - cumulative and toxic to all forms of life at remarkably low dosage.

Er, maybe it's just me, but I don't see how both of these assertions can possibly be true simultaneously.

Keep brushing with Crest. And you think POT is bad, my God..
Should I brush with pot?

Only if you want your teeth to get the munchies.

Well I'm sorry if I didn't know what exactly you were talking about, as you didn't give me a link. Now that I have found the study in question, let me refer back to what you said. Incidently, you ARE right about the fact the study was performed in Finland...

For instance, that Finnish study that measured hip fractures among elderly women who lived at the same address between 1967 and 1980. They based the flouride levels they quoted on...what?

From Exposure to natural fluoride in well water and hip fracture: a cohort analysis in Finland

Estimates for fluoride concentrations (median, 0.1 mg/liter; maximum, 2.4 mg/liter) in well water in each member of the cohort were obtained by a weighted median smoothing method based on ground water measurements.

As far as all your other questions, download the full report from the link I provided if you REALLY are that interested in the methodology.

No, it's not you. Fluoride IS naturally occuring as calcium fluoride in nature. It is the ARTIFICIAL fluoride compounds such as sodium fluoride and others that pose SERIOUS health problems....

Ho hum.

Just keep right on brushing with that 4000 ppm fluoride toothpaste. It might make you smile silly after awhile..

Oh, and watch out for that smallpox shot if you happen to have a bit of an itch...
