The big problem the Democrats have right now is that Biden has screwed things up so bad it's likely that Trump is going to win even if they try to replace Biden.
Losing to Trump is going to destroy the presidential dreams of any legit Democrat with who seriously aspires to be the President and there are very few with enough stature and national prsenece to make a run.
Biden's VP Kamala is a DEI disaster who can't even string three words together.
The only Democrat Gov with potential is Gavin Newsome and he has serious negatives not to mention the fact that has run California into the ground. .

It really comes down to Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsome, Michele Obama or maybe a General like Mattis who could make the switcheroo. The best option at this point would seem to be replacing Kamala with the Mooch or Hillary in the VP slot at the convention.
