When I worked in psychiatric hospitals in my younger years, if we had a client who believed he was Napoleon Bonaparte, we treated him with respect, kindness, and medication. We did not provide him with uniforms, infantry, artillery and horses.

Shoulda done what American docs do, viz. see the patient for 30 seconds, refer the patient to a specialist, then bill the patient’s insurance for a full visit.
