A person is infected after coming into direct contact with a contaminated object. It spreads from person to person by direct contact between them. Strict handwashing, especially in hospital environments, can prevent its spread.
Wash your hands and maybe use a Hand Sanitizer after contact.
Now a racist question, how many illegals or what % of this fungus come from illegals and druggies?

C Auris is a “hospital disease”. It mostly infects people who have been hospitalized for several weeks, and they have significant underlying conditions. If you are not hospitalized, or sharing surgical instruments with people, you will probably be OK.

I don’t have an N95 mask. Can I make do by putting cheese cloth in a colandar, putting it over my face and tying it around my head? I find I do have to make holes for my eyes in the cheese cloth, otherwise I keep smashing into things. It also works better if you spray paint it black to cut down the glare.
