What you are is a weak minded religious tyrant who would deprive people of their liberty to punish the many over the actions of the few. As I’ve said, people like you are not doing God’s work, you’re doing Satan’s work. Only Satan wold want people not have the blessings of liberty and freedom that our Creator gave us and be forced to live like slaves with no free will being lorded over by scum like you. Not gonna happen. As I’ve said many times, a religious tyranny is just as bad as a communist tyranny.
No, it's not, because it so often results in harm to others. Even alcohol use, if one steps outside their own property (and abusers almost invariably eventually do while impaired), is pretty heavily regulated, and why? Because those impaired (and it doesn't take much) have proven to be a considerable danger to others. Drugs? Ditto. Following our local news, if only by having a car radio on in the morning, or, spending a few hours in traffic court, will turn up an interesting result: About 90% (maybe more) of traffic ARRESTS (ie., serious violations of traffic laws initiated the stop) are rooted in drug use (not selling, USE) or alcohol use (blood alcohol over legal limit).
Neglecting the many too many instances I've witnessed (mostly in my younger days) of persons who've had "one or more too many" drinks endangering people in private settings, even the argument that drugs or alcohol use to significant effect in private settings does not incur harm to others is shaky. Why? Because those with insufficient judgment or inability (addiction) to not impair themselves are now doubly hampered in their judgments, and far, far too often do not stay home or at their friend's home, etc.
Heck, I'm no teetotaler. I enjoy a half glass of good wine or a shot of schnapps in my apple cider once in a while. Maybe a couple beers if out with rarely seen friends and no chance I'll be driving. But, even tho' I was never more than a moderate drinker, I slammed the door on more than light use by myself many years ago. Why? Well, mostly due to observation of others, and partially due to observation of myself: Nothing crazy - mostly just a realization I tended to want to drink a little more if I was unhappy about something. (Usually a girl!) I decided that was a poor progression, and music and work were better refuges.
Freedom requires responsibility. Lots of it. The problem with mind altering drugs and alcohol is that those substances themselves erode judgment and responsibility, already in short supply. So, society then has to find some line between freedom and, aside from harm to the user, attempting to limit harm to itself or others.
Where to draw the line is the great debate.

I have time and again stated my belief in the Constitution as written, I keep talking about how important freedom is and the responsibility that comes with freedom and free will, I’ve even stated on several that we:re going to be judged by how we use our free will. Really, I wonder if you’d have that same belief if you were Jewish and living in 1930’s Germany. I guess you have no clue about the history of using laws against people. For instance, the law in Germany at that time made it legal for the government to steal Jewish owned property. German law at the time made it legal to kill Jewish people. Laws aren’t tyranny? You’re just to fanatical and ignorant to understand that they most certainly can be.
