I’d rather have the husky wide ones between me and a gunman...they have more surface area to block a bullet or shrapnel. A tall fat president should be surrounded by tall fat bodyguards. The small skinny guys can be snipers, tackle weirdo violent protesters, or run alongside the car. There’s a role for all body types, I suppose.
I think it is a self preservation thing with the media. Put anything out on Trump all sides will read it. Put anything out with Biden on it and barely anyone will read it.

First of I’m not so sure I believe the story and even if it’s true his job is not to be physically fit, run and jump, shoot and fight. They’re job is to protect the President against all threats and in many cases that requires physical agility. When you look at pictures of President Trump in his 30’s and 40’s he was definitely in pretty good shape. Having never smoked or drank probably in better shape than those who protect him now. My physical condition now if far different than it was when I was the age of your average SS agent. When I was in the ARMY with 101st Airborne Division I would have given even the young SS agents a run for their money. Trump is 3 years older than I am.
