Car accident lawsuits, no taxes are paid, hopefully this type of lawsuit is the same.

Ahhh, looked it up..it is taxable. He’ll still be left with millions and he has 6 more lawsuits to go!

It says they settled the 250M lawsuit. Maybe he settled for less than 250M.

I would bet less than $1 million. Would he have had a D.C. jury? This would be a tough case.

It is good that we dont know the amount. The msm wont know if they go bancrupt if they lose the next defamation case.

ABC reported that Michael Flynn owes his lawyers about $5 million. If the Washington Post feels that they can settle for less than what they would have paid for lawyer’s fees to win the case, I believe the Washington Post would settle for around $5 million to end the case against Nicholas Sandmann.

Nicholas Sandmann filed the suit in Eastern Kentucky. I want to believe the jury would also be picked from Eastern Kentucky.

A “Settlement” usually means less money than what the lawsuit claim was for. Then the buzzards get their share.

The entire staff of the wa post should be in prison, along with its owner.

If the settlement is meant to make you whole there is no tax on the money. At least that is how it works for personal injury lawsuits in Minnesota.
