Janet Jackson did an O.K. job in the remake of “The Nutty Professor”. I have to admit, it made me laugh. Uncomfortable a couple times. The guy dancing at the disco was funny.

Having never seen the original “Manchurian Candidate” I saw the one in 2004 at the theater. Somebody wanted to go.
I didn’t like it at first. Now it’s one of my favorite movies. A lot of stuff woven in there.
The Democrats (including Al Franken(!)) were trying to make Boosh look like a Manchurian Candidate. Instead, they did a forecast on their own guy. There are so many small details in the movie it takes time to catch them all.
“The Nutty Professor” remake had a lot of Eddie Murphy’s humor in it, of course. Since he played multiple roles.
